It’s really not difficult, and neo-liberal apologists like you make it hard for me to sleep. I close my eyes and see the tears of wasted potential.

“In general the models and methodologies used by HMRC to estimate the tax gap are sound and consistent with the general approaches used by other countries”

This clearly says that HMRC are happy with HMRC’s procedures. Nothing more. The reference to “other countries” may be confusing you. Read it again.

The SJW derangement syndrome is strong with this one.

I was alerted to this disgraceful, sexist, hurtful and sexist post earlier today.Since then, I’ve been having a little look at this site.

Poking fun and making jokes seems to be the main theme.

And all while there are children starving.

I hope you’re pleased with yourselves.

  2. Er, and what has HMRC (the thing being quoted) got to do with starving children either?

    SJW indeed.

Each time HMRC fails to collect money units due, units of starvation are created as balance.

That is simple neo-liberal double-entry Nazism.

Hello Dierdre. How is Gjoq getting on these days? It’s been ages since I saw her and Bert Brecht, the cheeky little scamp.

I’m not sure what you’re insinuating, and my private life is my own affair.

Choosing Costa Rica over the splendours of nearby Cuba says it all about you frankly.

  6. PF,
Yes, I do have news of Doreen, and the news is not good.

The election was a great and terrible shock to her, as it was to all decent people. Like many she had been pinning her hopes on a Labour-SNP Coalition, believing this synthesis of Socialism and Nationalism would be the cure for the Nazism seen since 2010.

It wasn’t just the defeat. It was what we could have had.

Milliband-Sturgeon would have been the dreamiest of dream tickets: all 3 sexes represented, international, no English. (I’m English myself, but we have higher understanding in North London).

LOL, Poe’s Law strikes again. “Units of starvation? ” Heh.

  8. Ah Jack,

I am sorry to hear of Doreen’s sad news. I can imagine that the shock was too much; I have to confess, I had suspected for some time that all was not well.

Thank you for taking the time to explain on Deirdre’s behalf. I am guessing Deirdre was distracted with what she had to endure down here, poor girl.

I was impressed that she even took the time to enquire and visit this particularly squalid little parlour (and south of the river too)! It can’t have been easy for her; with all these rowdy sots around; I hope her mother will not be too hard on her when she returns home.
