Well, that’s a relief then

Dr Rieger said: “Even though the majority of women identify as straight, our research clearly demonstrates that when it comes to what turns them on, they are either bisexual or gay, but never straight.”

Because of course a species in which one sex was turned on by the sight of the one with which they need to mate would never survive, would it?

Still, should help when asking the wife for a threesome.

  1. “The results, which were based on elements such as whether their pupils dilated in response to sexual stimuli, showed that 82% of the women tested were aroused by both sexes.”

So, 18% of women weren’t, so might be clearly straight?

I don’t really buy it because so few women have both straight and lesbian relationships, or lesbian affairs. I’m not saying that bi-curiosity isn’t higher, but if it was really around 80%, the g/g section of Tinder would be massive. We’d have heard about this.

  2. So all those women – a few months ago – getting hot and bothered about Ross Poldark doing a spot of gardening with his shirt off were all getting over-excited merely by his scything technique then?

David Hadley – “So all those women – a few months ago – getting hot and bothered about Ross Poldark doing a spot of gardening with his shirt off were all getting over-excited merely by his scything technique then?”

Clearly this research proves it was due to his close physical resemblance to Julie Bindel.

  4. Does one need help asking the wife for a threesome? Generally, they’re quite keen on the idea. But, then, they’re not fantasizing about another woman, are they?

  5. David Hadley,

Yup. Ladies love a large chopper.

  6. squirrels dont get a look in.

In a 2007 experiment, Chivers hooked up both heterosexual and lesbian women to a plethysmograph, which measures blood flow to the vagina, a byproduct of sexual arousal. Both straight and gay women exhibited arousal after viewing footage of heterosexual and same-sex couples copulating, regardless of how they self-identified. Even images of bonobos having sex turned them on.
