  1. “Watson – a Global Goodwill Ambassador for United Nations Women – was speaking at an event to launch her feminist book club.

However, reports about the event focused mainly on her new hairstyle, good fashion sense and admission that she used to hate her “strong eyebrows” when she was nine years-old.”

    Ha ha ha!

  2. So Much For Subtlety

Ms Watson is taking a year off to focus on being a good girl friend and wife material. Not quite how she has put it but that is what she is doing.

Her boy friend is older, richer and well connected.

So is anyone surprised she is trying to find out how to please him in bed? This is the route to female happiness – a man so much better than her she wants to work hard to please him. It seems to be a general rule that the more a woman talks about feminism the more abjectly supine she is in her private life.

I wonder why SMFS, as usual expert in everything, is not offering some one-to-one tuition.

Bloke in Germany in Hong Kong – “I wonder why SMFS, as usual expert in everything, is not offering some one-to-one tuition.”

She had to pass Basic before she gets to do Advanced.

  5. So Emma Watson is checking out “expensive but worth it” port sites. Meanwhile the feminist Emma Watson is no doubt disgusted and outraged that there are expensive but worth it Hermione based based porn sites.

  6. Beauty fades and despite her protestations of feminism Ms. Watson knows bloody well that she needs to land a suitably appropriate mate before she hits the wall at 30.

As regards the specifics of how she might achieve orgasm from the site she has signed up for, maybe the mighty Ms. Watson is just shit in bed having foregone the learning behaviour of teenage girls in this regard and she needs to make Mr. Right put a ring on it.

  7. SMFS: “a man so much better than her she wants to work hard to please him.”

While she knows he still has –relatively- inexpensive options to be rid of her.

Wait until the Parson has done the deal and then see who is trying to please who–and likely sex will be the least of it.

Mr Ecks – “Wait until the Parson has done the deal and then see who is trying to please who–and likely sex will be the least of it.”

From the pen of Roissy, compare and contrast. States that introduce unilateral no-fault divorce result in men working harder and fewer women entering the work force.

That is, Ms Watson’s soon-to-have option to strip her husband of his assets means she does not have to worry about a career and can concentrate on getting fat while watching day time TV.

And in the annals of true Alpha males – the woman who claimed Trump not only raped her but also kept her as a sex slave, now says she is voting for him:

As I often think, at some point ISIS is the sensible option.

Women looking at porn = Educational and empowering

Men, or worse, boys looking at porn = visual rape

  10. SMFS you have it.

Emma Watson enjoys the porn she approves of and actually pays for it. All of the femispeak is simply rationalization for her watching the “perverted” stuff.

  11. John Galt,

“Beauty fades and despite her protestations of feminism Ms. Watson knows bloody well that she needs to land a suitably appropriate mate before she hits the wall at 30.”

I actually think Emma Watson might be future woman-with-a-house-full-of-cats material. She’s a weirdo. She took a year out after school as a gap year, then went to uni, has hardly worked since, and is now taking another gap year. I mean, why the hell would someone who’s basically at the top of being an actress go to university to study English? That’s why you go to university to do English – so you can go into writing/acting etc. It’s like one of the Al-Maktoum kids playing the lottery. She’s hardly worked since Potter. About 4 or 5 lead roles, nothing that set the world on fire. She’s not going to transform into a Keira Knightley or Emily Blunt at that work rate.

  12. Gareth may well be right, that it’s just a cynical marketing exercise. But my first thought was “positional goods”. There are lots of web sites, books, magazines, etc. that will provide advice about sex at a reasonable price or for free. By revealing that she pays a large fee for information that could be obtained more cheaply elsewhere, Watson is advertising how rich she is.

Her ostentatious interest in feminism could be explained in similar terms – it’s virtue signalling, a conspicuous display of piety towards the claimed beliefs of her social class in order to increase her status amongst them. I suspect that most of the people who join her “feminist book club” will also be doing so in search of social status – look at me, I belong to the rich person’s special club for clever people – rather than from any real interest in feminism or books.

  13. Bloke in Germany in Hong Kong

    @SMFS,

That was a genuinely worthy comeback, but for the fact that training the newbies is the easiest and most rewarding part.

  14. Look, she’s admitted that there’s a lot Hermoine in her. And girls like that are too neurotic to ever really get off in bed. (Maybe if they meet their Michael Hutchence, but generally not.)

What I read was that she was taking a year off to study feminism. Frankly, hanging out with feminists isn’t going to help her in the sack. (Although I did see a picture of her with Gloria Steinem recently, who, for all her idiocies, never seemed to have a problem with having a good time in bed.)
