Judith reveals in the last sentence that she is intent on fighting straw men: no one anywhere has argued that anyone but a tax authority should decide what tax is due.

That’s from the man who has spent the last decade shouting that people should pay the amount of tax he thinks they should, not what HMRC thinks they should?

Is there really no self-awareness there at all?

  1. Oh FFS. I never learn.

I went to his site to look for this post and ended up in a different post with one of his cretinous (unsound)mindmaps.

  2. “no one anywhere has argued that anyone but a tax authority should decide what tax is due”

Well that’s the Lord Chancellor for one out of a job then.

  3. He says now that it is clear HMRC got it wrong on Google and it should have litigated.
But when the NAO got Andrew Park to review the 5 Sweetheart cases he ruled they were reasonable. TJN said the review was flawed and that more tax should have been paid.
When UK Uncut lost its legal case against HMRC, TJN said it was wrong and that more tax should have been paid.
When the OTR says HMRC were right, will TJN say more tax should have been paid?

  4. This from the guy who is always yelling that tax authorities are over – awed by big business and always cave in? At least this is what he told the Select Committee last week. Has he forgotten already?
