    How punk rock.

Irons […] said he had not gone into his profession in order to conform to the status quo.

“I became an actor to be a rogue and a vagabond and play by my own rules so I don’t think it would be apt for the establishment to pull me in as one of their own, for I ain’t,”…

He roared, to whoops and cheers from his outlaw biker gang, the Hell’s
    Ironies
    ?

… he told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme.

    Oh. 🙂

  2. He should have stayed on Play School.

Maybe he did and this is just him refusing to look through the square window.

  3. So Much For Subtlety

Jeremy Irons went to Sherborne. Which claims it was founded in the eighth century, but actually was founded in 1550.

You know, I think that might look like a school producing members of the Establishment. I don’t think that any school that can claim a Black Rod among its Old Boys can be anything else. I particularly like the Old Boys who have been actors.

  4. Multi millionaire, flies everywhere first class, lives in a pink castle. yep, not part of the ‘stab.

Apparently he has become involved in Irish politics down in Cork. I bet they love him.
