Towards a centralised Eurolanguage

A European human rights commissioner has told British ministers to stop referring to “illegal immigrants”, claiming they should use the term “irregular migrants” for foreigners who enter this country without permission.

Actually matey it’s our language to define and use as we please. A language which we will use and define as we wish without any permission, allowance or direction from the likes of you.

  1. A rose by any other name smells just as sweet, or so I’ve heard.

Let’s face it we all abuse English by reinventing the meaning of words. We can call the refugees Pink Polka Parisians and it won’t change a thing.

Perhaps if 1% of the energy that goes into being PC were channeled into useful endeavors the world would be a better place. Let’s have the thought police, like Nils Muižnieks, focus on the time wasters, like Nils Muižnieks. With them tied up the rest of us can move on with life.

  2. I like the cut of Henry’s jib.

claiming they should use the term “irregular migrants” for foreigners who enter this country without permission.

To save time, maybe we should address them as #YouAin’tARealMuslimBruv

This. But that would require making hard choices and practically-necessary compromises, which would interfere with the race for chief sanctimonious prick.

  4. Illegal = not consistent with the law
Irregular = not consistent with the rules
A migrant is both an immigrant and an emigrant, but we aren’t too fussed about illegal emigrants.

Why do we pay this man’s salery?

  5. So Much For Subtlety

America is well down this path. As I often say, our rulers have nothing but contempt for us.

  6. They broke the law, they’re illegal. Not irregular. The correct response to all of this is the Australian one. Ship all the illegals to a camp in Morocco or somewhere else that is poor and will be paid to accept them and they can elect to go home or stay in the camp.

  7. Ken. ABsolutely. That has been the solution all along.

I beggars belief that we are x- years into this crisis and no one in a position of power is pushing for it.

Remember, although Merkel’s madness was last year, in Italy we have been fishing them out of the med and landing them for years now, with precious little assistance from the cunts in Brussles.

  8. Ken,

Take a look at Israel’s solution: they have an arrangement with Rwanda to deport undocumented refugees there. Details are sketchy because neither party wants to make it public.
