  1. Yes, in a book about Von Ribbentrop I read that in 1914 Germany accounted for more than 50% of the UK foreign trade v 15% with the whole of the commonwealth. In 2014 Germany was again the top trading partner with the UK, a position it had in 1914.

    Trade links never stopped warmongering tossers.

    Also, just recall the strong Soviet German trade before the mad corporal invaded the USSR.

  2. So, robust trade with Germany has survived two world wars yet will not survive Brexit, ’tis said.
