Well, yes, although it’s considered impolite to say so Boris

The European Union is pursuing a similar goal to Hitler in trying to create a powerful superstate, Boris Johnson says.

  1. More so in that it is an aspiration of creating of a singular European state without demos. The nation state being seen as the fount of all evil to Monnet. The English call it tyranny.

  2. Philip 2nd, Louis 14th, Napoleon, Kaiser Wilhelm, and Hitler all shared a version of the ambition.
All were defeated by alliances of states, each alliance including ourselves.
Mr Cameron kindly referenced some of the actions involved in y overthrow of said Tyrannies

    Says who?

It does at least have the merit of being a damned sight more accurate than anything duplicitous Dave has come up with yet.

Have we had the “Brexit will cause London to be destroyed by rising sea levels” threat yet or is that one still to come, after the inevitable alien invasion?

Maybe this could develop into a spoof? “Dave / George / whoever says Brexit will (insert suitable nonsense)” – as a way of ridiculing the lies and dishonesty?

  4. And yet if you said the Brexiteers wanted to install Hitler, you’d be accused of “project fear”.

  5. All were defeated by alliances of states, each alliance including ourselves.

There is, as always, a Yes, Minister clip illustrating this, but I’ll be damned if I can find it on Youtube right now.

  6. Unfortunately this means Boris loses the argument and we have to join the euro and Schengen.
