David Lammy is a tosser, isn’t he?

We need to get real, quickly: $2tn was wiped off global markets on Friday; the pound has plummeted; and Moody’s has already downgraded our credit rating from “stable” to “negative”. A Brexit would be self-immolation.

An ignorant fucking tosser too. They donwgraded the outlook, not the credit rating. They actually affirmed the rating itself.

It is also within parliament’s powers to call a second referendum, now that the dust has begun to settle and the reality of a post-Brexit nation is coming into view. We need a second referendum at the very least, on the basis of a plan that is yet to even be drawn up.

Fuck off tosser.

  1. He’s absorbed EU mores very well. Referendum doesn’t go your way: tell the bastards to keep holding them until they get the result they want 🙂

  2. If they ever do a biopic of Robert Mugabe, he’d be a cert for the young part. He wouldn’t even have to act.

  3. If you haven’t been already–get over to Rod Liddle’s petition in the Spectator to have Lammy removed as an MP

  4. All quite hilarious! As Steve the Inimitable (and insightful) put it on another thread, these people – and particularly this nauseating Labour quota-filler – are going through the Kubler Ross stages of grief.

I won’t be signing the petition. The more people like Lammy are left inside the Labour Party and their views published the better.

And it looks like we might need to join the Labour Party again to keep Corbyn as leader.

  7. Craig Murray has an interesting theory, that Labour want to make sure Corbyn is muzzled before the Chilcot report comes out.

Can’t quite get my head round the politics of that, but there you go…

  8. We could have three parties on the Left and three on the right at the next election: Momentum Crazies, Blairites, Illiberal Undemocrats vs EuTories, Tories and UKIP.

Aah, I can help with this one. It’s because Craig Murray is a loon.

  10. Chilcot will not even cause a ripple in the pond in the current chaos. Blair must be rubbing his hands in glee.

  11. Rob, I think you might have a fourth on the left at the next election, as UKIP may have split by then. The “old labour” protectionists who did brilliantly in the north, versus the Carswell internationalist liberals.

Assuming Brxit has actually happened by then, the one policy that holds them together will have vanished.

  12. “We could have three parties on the Left and three on the right at the next election: Momentum Crazies, Blairites, Illiberal Undemocrats vs EuTories, Tories and UKIP.”

That seems more like 4, or possibly 5, parties on the left.

  13. This “old labour protectionists stuff” has little validity.

These people don’t want their country run by EU bureaucra-trash, they don’t like being dictated to and they don’t like mass immigration. Esp of RoPrape specials. And their animosity against some Poles is occasioned by the fact that 700,000 self-selected people turned up in a fairly short period to compete with locals for jobs. Lots of Poles are concentrated in certain areas as well.

Any group that size will not all be hard-working nice people. There are also a lot of low IQ stick-together-against-the-natives types with ways and habits that grate. And a fair number of criminals also.

Trade-type protectionism is not even on the mental horizon for most working class anti-Europe voters. They are against demographic invasion and takeover, not free trade. Make sure that the tide of low IQ migrants stops and that is job done. Some migrants–having useful skills and esp good character is not a problem. Mass invasion of intended displacers/replacements (complete with bad habits) is.

And free of EU cost-boosting, free trade is an advantage to us all.

  14. Personally. I think another referendum would be a great idea. In fact I think “best of three” would be the way to go.

NI would probably vote Leave at the second one and Scotland would at the third.

  15. Robert Thorpe,

I felt quite nervous the following day, but the way the lefties have exposed themselves as fascists after this vote, I would, without any hesitation vote leave again. I now consider us to have been very lucky to have got out when we did.

Craig Murray, far from being a loon, is usually very sharp on the machinations of the Blairites. The PLP have undermined Corbyn at every point they could since his election as leader, and to have blamed Corbyn for Brexit at this juncture really shows they have no respect for the labour movement that they profess to respect. I understand my position on this blog is not a popular one, however I voted to Leave for the sake of democracy, and all those who respect democracy should be disgusted by the squalid manouevrings of Benn, Kinnock etc.

For the record, this is Murray’s point in his own words :
“For the Labour Right, the moment when Corbyn as Labour leader stands up in parliament and condemns Blair over Iraq, is going to be as traumatic as it was for the hardliners of the Soviet Communist Party when Khruschev denounced the crimes of Stalin. It would also destroy Blair’s carefully planned post-Chilcot PR strategy. It is essential to the Blairites that when Chilcot is debated in parliament in two weeks time, Jeremy Corbyn is not in place as Labour leader to speak in the debate. The Blairite plan is therefore for the parliamentary party to depose him as parliamentary leader and get speaker John Bercow to acknowledge someone else in that fictional position in time for the Chilcot debate, with Corbyn remaining leader in the country but with no parliamentary status. Yes, they are that nuts.”

Murray’s point make sense to me, especially when you consider Mandevelison is in the background.

So smug metropolitan Lefties, having seen their erstwhile core voter bloc decide en masse against their beloved EU, now want to defenestrate a good old-fashioned socialist in favour of a smug metropolitan Lefty? If you’re holding 17 then doubling down is not generally recommended.
