Then this would be a real thing:
There must be another election in the USA because I do not like the result of the one they had on Tuesday.

Good old Rod Liddle.
There’s still the Electoral College to try to subvert. Plus that grand old US tradition of assassination.
Maybe the lefties should crowd-fund an assassin. But since they don’t like Pence either and the Republicans hold both houses they would have to shoot a lot of guys to get to someone they like.
WGCE.
56 million signatures already, all from one address in North London
dearieme,
Threatening the life of the President – or the President-Elect – is a crime in the U.S. punishable by up to five years in prison. Be very careful what you write online. Even U.S. border agents can demand to see your social media profile.
On the other hand, if someone you know and dislike is both actively threatening the President online and planning a trip to the U.S. soon, feel free to notify the relevant authorities.
The Guardian … and likely Charlie Brooker are probably lining themselves up for a second bite at the cherry….?
Would be delicious if they forget themselves in their frenzy of grief…. and get “cuffed + clinked”
“Actually I am quite relaxed about the result. But watching the reaction of the ‘liberal’ elite on both sides of the Atlantic was such fun that I would like it to happen all over agai”
Brilliant.
@DevonChap: What on earth makes you think they’d see that as a problem? History should show you it’s not, ever, for the Left…
JuliaM
I was thinking it might get quite expensive as I understand assassins charge per hit.
Some nice comments below the petition.
DtP, it’s a joke.
DtP, it’s a joke.
Sorry, but I’ve been hearing the exact same thing over here, delivered in All Seriousness by My Betters. There is no humor in absurdity when absurdity is the norm.
DtP
Sure, I understand, but if you had clciked the link, it was just an obvious piss take (that was all). And typical Rod Liddle humour.
@DevonChap
Wholesale murder is the one thing the Left does know how to do efficiently.
Especially if they’ve got a particular, easily-identifiable group to go after.
Actually, it’s quite funny, from one or two of the comments below the petition, that some haven’t twigged what they’re signing. And no, they are not being dry…
Some utter bollocks from the former newspaper known as the Telegraph:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/11/10/what-special-relationship-donald-trump-speaks-to-nine-other-worl/
Snub! We’ve been snubbed!
Why? Because he called a handful of countries’ leaders before the UK’s. We were all the way down in 10th.
Utter shite. Reading something into that. Twats.
Don’t joke about this. Post Brexit democracy fatigue is beginning to infect the US too: http://bit.ly/2g1hdd5 Why can’t these numpties grow the hell up?
The Dalston Mercury’s a good replacement for the Daily Mash, now that latter site went all lefty and crap with BBC “humour”.
I love the irony-free morons “protesting Trump” in New York today. And of course those college kids who organised a walk-out and boycott in protest at Trump.
“What about Trump?” I ask, following up with “Please explain. What exactly are you hoping to achieve? What outcome are you demanding?”
Cos I’m into wasting my fucking time I am.
I have a Facebook friend who posted “Why America, why?”
So I asked him “Why ask ‘why’? If they told you would you bother to listen?”.
There’s always “Aberdeenshire Business Owner Wins Presidential Election” in various Scottish local rags.
“Because he called a handful of countries’ leaders before the UK’s. We were all the way down in 10th.”
Timezones. Don’t any of these idiots look at a map? He phoned Japan, Korea, Australia, India, Egypt, UK. Politely ensuring the people he phoned were awake.
@jgh
It’s quite something how far the Telegraph has fallen, isn’t it?
Even with Seiken and Day gone, and Heffer back, it’s still a bag of feminist crap.
I’m a bit surprised that nobody on the left has started calling for the Electoral College to ignore the vote as it’s only “advisory”: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faithless_elector
We’re a long term reliable ally. We get tongues and everything. But later.
The people you ring first are either the ones that actively helped you (we didn’t and I don’t think anybody else did) or the ones who you feel will be stupidly flattered by the attention.
I’m a bit surprised that nobody on the left has started calling for the Electoral College to ignore the vote as it’s only “advisory”
Oh, they have… They have.
Ironman
The teachers led the kids out. Three words came to mind,
Air. Traffic. Controllers.
“Oh, they have… They have.”
Including that vapid twat Lady Gaga.
As long as they’re determined to keep ensuring that this happens again and again and again, I’m quite happy.
A few of them seem to have figured out the problem and started trying to change it. Yeah, good luck with that. If the snowflakes were only snowflakes strategically, they could quickly change. But the fuckwits of the Left raised then to be actual genuine snowflakes who really do think that anyone who disagrees with them is Darth fucking Vader. Changing those minds could take a while.
DevonChap

I’m still in. Shoot enough guys and you can make up for the horriblness of whoever they manage to get into office.

What?! That is horrendously unAmerican!

True Threat Doctrine. Never get past a Grand Jury.
I’ve been watching the call to try to sway the electors. What I don’t understand is why anyone would think this is acceptable. After the first time it works big money will move in and we won’t even need to bother voting.
Hell, we’d be better off just putting the presidency up for auction. At least that way it is easier for the courageous state to get its hands on that money.
I understand the Queen is well off financially. Is there any chance she’d try to buy back the colonies in that scenario?
So we now have the odd scenes of ‘liberals’ rioting against free and fair elections under universal suffrage.
Forget Trump – the future is more scary because as sensible older white people die, these maniacs become a larger percentage of the population. I see no reason why they would grow up and start thinking.
Agamemnon,
It’s not a grand jury who has to be persuaded: it’s the border guards. Much lower threshold of evidence.
