This surprises everyone, right?

Irn-Bru sales in Parliament have dramatically soared since the SNP’s increased their numbers in the last general election, the latest figures have revealed.

And the supply of feral haggis that roam the rafters of the Palace is declining too.

  1. 175 cans/SNP MP/year. That’s a lot of booze, given Irn-Bru’s either a vodka mixer, or a morning after hangover cure.

Yes, but Scots Labour and LibDem MPs don’t need to virtue signal their Scottishness at every turn as they are elected on a political platform defined by a UK manifesto.

Please don’t mistake feral rats that roam the rafters of the Palace of Westminster for wild haggis (Haggis Scoticus), they are attracted to the supply of subsidised food, just like the rest of the vermin that inhabit the place.

…actually I suspect the rats are a lot cleaner and well behaved…

I’ve always loved Irn-Bru and make a point of drinking some if I ever find myself in Bonnie Caledonia. It’s not easy to find in southern England, especially the diet stuff which I drink these days.
