Not that I’m a fan of Louise Casey but

Muslim communities remain isolated even after decades in the UK because men keep marrying foreign wives, a Government adviser has warned.

Dame Louise Casey said that there is a “first generation in every generation” phenomenon in Muslim communities which is acting as a “bar” to integration.

The review also accuses Labour and local authorities of having “ignored or even condoned” harmful cultural traditions for fear of being branded “racist or Islamaphobic”.

That all seems fairly sensible.

And we’d probably not really say “Muslim” but more Pakistani and possibly Bangladeshi, no? First cousin marriages and all that?

It is said 70% of all children born last year had at least one foreign parent.

The owl of Minerva flies at midnight. It is too late to complain now. That is our future. An ever decreasing, ever threatened, minority in our own country. What do they think they can do? Ban people marrying someone from back home?

  2. The whole concept of multiculturalism means never having to bother to integrate, just how fucking thick are these people?

It is heartbreaking and also extremely worrying in terms of our children’s future that we have allowed ourselves to be destroyed in this way.

I wouldn’t say it is too late to complain- many people are only noticing now and many have still not noticed. Complaining is natural and understandable. You are correct that it is too late to do anything about it at this point, but then it probably always was. It started in secret after WW2 and has continued at a massive pace ever since. The response has been neutered at every turn. It is a battle lost.

I believe the most sensible response going forward is to find and reinforce with immigration a place where this reality has not yet taken hold. We don’t have much time. The conservative part of a split USA would be such a place. If not then Australia and NZ another possibility. Canada another.

Living as a hunted minority in Europe is not a viable future. We are the only ethnic group currently facing this kind of annihilation and we need to take it seriously, just as the Jews, the Japanese, the Han Chinese and the various Muslim ethnic groups do We don’t have the demographic advantage and our open societies provide no barriers to destruction. We need to act now. Unless we just don’t don’t care.

  4. What Machiavelli said.

Tomsmith: “I wouldn’t say it is too late to complain”

Complain away. It’s far, far to late to actually do anything about it. Even if the will was there, and I doubt it is…

  5. Moving to New Zealand to avoid darkies Tomsmith, is the height of idiocy. We are an immigrant country, and mostly happy with it.

What we are not particularly is European any more. My friends at work include a Fijian Indian, a German, a Cook Island/Maori guy, several Maori and even some white folks.

Plenty of Poms love it here, but only those not wanting an Antipodean England. Nor are we conservative.

  6. Julia: “Complain away. It’s far, far to late to actually do anything about it. Even if the will was there, and I doubt it is…”

Tomsmith “you are correct that it is too late to do anything about it”

Was just saying that complaining, being annoyed, sad, angry is an understandable and reasonable response. Agree too late to do anything for europe

  7. ” it is too late to do anything about it”

    Far from it.
The instruction books were written in 30’s Germany.

  8. Chester Draws: Some maoris and Pacific islanders a bit different to mass immigration from ROP areas of the world and Africa.

I’m sure NZ and Aus would get a lot more conservative if enough English people moved there

  9. “Far from it.
The instruction books were written in 30’s Germany.”

Impossible to do anything that looks “right wing” or “racist” in modern Europe, especially UK

  10. @tomsmith
Don’t be naive. The sort of people shout Thick.Racist.Prick will be the guards on the cattle trucks headed to the camps.

  11. Trucks full of thick.racist.pricks no doubt

But it will be ok, because those people are racists opposed to the new multicultural orthodoxy

  12. Bloke in North Dorset

    As I’ve said before, we aren’t multi-cultural, we’re multi mono-cultural.

There may be some mixing at the margins, especially in cities, but then people go home to their mono-culture area.

  13. “Ban people marrying someone from back home”

They can marry who they like–back home. And stay there.

The problem is the defeat of entrenched leftist scum. That is the difficult one.

  14. @tomsmith
No-one should underestimate the savagery of Europeans. It’s the same mindset produces PC produces the organisers of death camps. Why we were capable of subjugating a major portion of the planet. At heart, we are not nice people.

  15. “Far from it.
The instruction books were written in 30’s Germany.”

It is truly frightening that an otherwise intelligent person can write this.

  16. @Irontwat

‘No, SMFS is a Thick.Racist.Prick and so are you.’

Not that I give a shit, but you will never find a single racist thing that I have said on here, mostly because I’m not a racist. I couldn’t care less what race my neighbour is – though, to be fair, I’m economically protected enough that he’s likely to be a surgeon or a banker whatever his genetics.

I am anti Islamist, but Islamists do not belong to a particular race. There are white, black, brown and yellow Islamists. Odds of you getting this through your terminally thick, virtue signalling skull: minimal.

Now, I look forward to you lumping in most of the above commenters, and I suspect our host, in the same libel.

  17. What’s frightening, BiG, is what perfectly civilised Europeans are capable of doing. What’s stupid is presuming, given the evidence, that they wouldn’t do it again.

  18. “And if we do decide to ‘do something about it’ the first step should be the banning of all faith schools.”

The first step should be an end to birthright citizenship, the second an end to chain migration and the third, or final, solution (Did you see what I did there? Because anyone proposing these steps is literally Hitler) an end to all third-world immigration.
None of these things will ever happen, of course, because our superiors would rather see Britain turned into a violent, unstable s**thole than be called a Thick. Racist. Prick.

  19. Ohhhh.. so cousin-fucking aliens remain alien because some large proportion of their population are newly-imported cousin-fucking aliens. That makes sense.

  20. What do they think they can do? Ban people marrying someone from back home?

Target the nationalities. Allow marriages to Italians, Brazilians, and Russians but not Pakistanis and Bangladeshis, for example.

  21. And if we do decide to ‘do something about it’ the first step should be the banning of all faith schools.

Why? Ban Muslim schools if Muslims are the problem, and ban Jewish schools if Jews are the problem. Why ban Jewish schools and Muslim schools if only Muslims are the problem?

  22. No-one should underestimate the savagery of Europeans. It’s the same mindset produces PC produces the organisers of death camps. Why we were capable of subjugating a major portion of the planet. At heart, we are not nice people.

I’ve thought this for a while now. Muslims ought to take a look at what we were prepared to do to one another over history, and what the Americans do to cities when they are pushed too far. I don’t think the leash is as long as they think it is.

  23. > What do they think they can do? Ban people marrying someone from back home?

That’s pretty much what they have done, with the minimum income requirement for non-EEA spouses. Haven’t we discussed it before?

Since July 2012, UK citizens and settled residents applying to bring a non-EEA partner to the country must meet a minimum income requirement of £18,600 per year before tax.

It’s being challenged through the courts. Not sure where it is now. Here’s the Guardian reporting on the case last February:

The supreme court challenge, brought after the case was dismissed by the court of appeal last year, has multiple appellants. Two of them, Abdul Majid and Shabana Javed, are British and married to Pakistani nationals; a third, known as MM, is a Lebanese refugee. A nephew of MM, known as AF, is also an appellant, as well as SS, a refugee from the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Earning £18k a year is too much of a struggle for these poor chaps.

  24. I don’t see why marriage should lead to citizenship anyway. Maybe it should be taken into account, especially if there’s evidence of assimilation taking place.

Entry into a country for anything other than tourism ought to be on the basis of having something to offer.

Even if we do say, sure, bring the spouse even though they haven’t got valuable skills, if the marriage goes south so should their right to reside.

Disclosure: my missus is foreign but got citizenship via work permit, not marriage. Mainly ‘cos by the time we married, via work permit was quicker. But by having a lot of friends from elsewhere, I’ve seen the immigration and citizenship (and even asylum) systems having the piss utterly taken.

  25. Tim Newman: “Why ban Jewish schools and Muslim schools if only Muslims are the problem?”

I agree, but until we leave the EU and the subjugation of the ECHR….

  26. @JuliaM

Indeed. We might leave one, but leaving the other really isn’t on the cards.

Might be something in ECHR Article 9 that could be used there: “Freedom to manifest one’s religion or beliefs shall be subject only to such limitations as are prescribed by law and are necessary in a democratic society in the interests of public safety, for the protection of public order, health or morals, or for the protection of the rights and freedoms of others.”

Kinda scary stuff though, knowing how the public sector abuses such rules. Maybe just Ecksian Purges of state financing are a better way to go.

  27. Bloke in Spain: “tomsmith
No-one should underestimate the savagery of Europeans. It’s the same mindset produces PC produces the organisers of death camps. Why we were capable of subjugating a major portion of the planet. At heart, we are not nice people”

The problem is that the ‘burn your village’ mentality part of the Euro population is now pretty much fully focused on purging “racism” and other PC thought crimes, and punishing white people for the sins of the past.

Not really sure what to do about that apart from go somewhere else. Maybe the far east would be a viable destination.

  28. So I wonder who this thick.Racist.Prick is:

“We agree that we want to introduce a legal requirement to show one’s face in places where it is necessary for our society’s coexistence – at the wheel, at public offices, at the registry office, in schools and universities, in the civil service, in court”.

the migrant crisis … “should never be repeated”.

“full face veil is not acceptable in our country”

    Oh look! It’s Mrs Merkel.

  29. “Ban Muslim schools if Muslims are the problem, and ban Jewish schools if Jews are the problem. Why ban Jewish schools and Muslim schools if only Muslims are the problem?”

Exactly! Banning all faith schools because Muslim
schools indoctrinate their children with anti-western ideas would be unfair – and imprudent because it would involve unpicking the entire religious settlement in the UK.

  30. So Much For Subtlety

Ironman – “No, SMFS is a Thick.Racist.Prick and so are you.”

Who loves ya too baby? I am many things but wrong is not one of them.

Theophrastus – “The owl of Minerva flies at dusk, not midnight, in the quotation from Hegel.”

If misunderstanding Hegel is good enough for Marx …..

Besides, who actually reads Hegel? Or if they do, understands him?
