  1. This could get interesting. If the left manage to pick a strong candidate, we could conceivably end up with a FN vs Socialists final round. Unlikely, yes; but a lot of unlikely things have happened this year.

  2. @ Andrew M – interesting things will doubtless happen next year but Walls vs. Le Pen in the second round isn’t one of them.

    More likeley is that Le Pen rather than Fillon will attract socialist votes in the second round.

    For interesting things happening THIS year, we need only wait until Sunday in Rome.

  3. You know, that’s within the margin of error. It’s statistically possible that nobody approves of him. (Lizardman’s Constant and all that.)
