This is an interesting start, isn’t it?

Al Franken has repeated his contention that some of his fellow senators think Donald Trump is “not right mentally”.

“A few” Republicans are so concerned, the Minnesota Democrat told CNN’s State of the Union on Sunday. “It’s not the majority of them, it’s a few.”

Such concerns are expressed, he said, “in the way all of us have this suspicion. He lies a lot, he says things that aren’t true, that’s the same as lying I guess”.

Start with the he’s a bit odd thing some Rs and within a couple of months it will have moved to “All Rs think he’s mad so impeach!”

  1. So Much For Subtlety

Yeah. It is a good thing he has not collapsed in public due to some undiagnosed brain issue and then lied to everyone about it.

On the one hand the Democrats probably want to discredit Trump and talk about the chances of something happening, on the other hand, they are probably mystified about their loss and Trump’s success so they are going Full Retard.

The Cold Civil War is rapidly moving to a less Cold Civil War. It used to be said that it was too late to vote and too early to shoot. I don’t think it is too early to stock pile ammunition.

  2. Trump needs to answer the slightest treason in his ranks with massive brutality. Political scum–as Batman said of all criminal scum–are a cowardly and superstitious lot. With extra added greed in the case of the poli-pork. Trump needs agent provocateurs looking to see who takes the bait and at least a means to have any traitors thrown out on their arse sans compo and pension. And looking at a corruption investigation as well.

That is the one that will really frighten them.

  3. I suspect more than a few people think Al Franken “is not right mentally.” When do we get to remove him from office?

  4. @Ecks,

Sure. Meeting any opposition with brutality will only ensure that people don’t see him more and more as a dictator. Great plan, that!

  5. He lies a lot, he says things that aren’t true, that’s the same as lying I guess

This coming from a member of Congress, and a Democrat to boot. Lol. Perhaps they really aren’t aware that they lie continuously; perhaps they have internalised that as they are Noble and Good Progressives then by definition they cannot lie.

Anyway, let’s gather a list of all the things modern Progressives believe, with all the contradictions grouped together, show them to your average American and ask if they consider them to be the ideas of a a sane individual.

  6. Biggie–Who cares? CM scum already spew lies whatever Trump does. And nobody who isn’t a scum insider is going to worry about some political sellout being booted out sans taxpayers cash. Or when the corruption investigation reveals the booted to be a crook. Which the vast majority of them are.

Well we went from Trump accurately stating that some Mexican illegal immigrants are rapists to: ” Trump says all Mexicans are Rapists!!!” in about 24 hours.

  8. Hm. Well, for all these screeches of “lies” I don’t recall the Dems excoriating their beloved white black for “If you like your policy you can keep your policy, if you like your Doctor you can keep your doctor” – said repeatedly.

Note: If George Zimmerman was a white hispanic (as per the liberal mob trying to lock him up) Barack Obama is a white black.

  9. “He lies a lot, he says things that aren’t true, that’s the same as lying I guess”
Actually, saying things that aren’t true is not necessarily lying. You need to know that what you say isn’t true. Which in the case of Franken means that he never lies, because he has no idea what is meant by what he is saying.

  10. @dearime – they hope that if they shriek “Hitler!” often enough, some loon will murder him. After all, BLM have already succeeded with a version of that plan.

  11. Yes, it is quite clearly a meme they are trying to develop, it gets worked in to pretty much every article in NYT, WP etc. As to correct response? I would suggest subtle brutality, take away all of their privileges – fancy office, lucrative sidelines, status etc in a Frank Underwood style. They can hardly go mad on Facebook that he cancelled their second limo.
