‘Something’s happening …’ How the Women’s March inspired a new era of resistance
Since Trump’s inauguration, women in the US and around the world have been organising, protesting and preparing to run for office – and the wave is growing every day
It’ll last until there’s a new nail polish available. Oooh! Shiny!
And there is one little thing that ever so slightly grates. Why is it that the most privileged generation of women in the entire history of our species is whining so much?
Too much free time on their hands..?
“Why is it that the most privileged generation of women in the entire history of our species is whining so much?”
Because being a victim brings status on the left. In turn, this leads to competitive grievance-mongering, as feminists engage in a status-seeking ‘arms race’ of victimhood and identification of oppressions. The result is a virtue-signalling chorus of perpetual whingeing.
“She went to a rally in her state capital, Annapolis, recently; Maryland has a Republican governor, and she says he has made no comment, “on anything that 45 has done”. (Trump is the 45th president – like Burkhart, Shelley prefers not to refer to him by name.) “
Perhaps a better question should be ‘Why is it that the most educated and sophisticated generation of women in the entire history of our species is so bloody immature?’
“Yates says they will also fight for the right of Europeans to remain in the UK post-Brexit. “That isn’t directly a feminist issue,” she says, and Moulds jumps in. “Well, 50% of the people who will be affected will be women, so that’s why we want to be a voice.”
Jesus. When they’re told it’s not 50% women will they stop giving a shit or will they hunt for a new feminist angle?
“Why is it that the most privileged generation of women in the entire history of our species is whining so much?”
It’s because they are the most privileged generation in history. All problems related to survival solved and lots of time on their hands means all of their pathologies get a free run.
The utopias of the past saw Man as happy carefree beings. What if being freed from the cares of the world in fact turns everyone into bored, narcissistic psychopaths?
What Theophrastus said.
All civilisations are stories. Our new story (for the last few decades, anyway) is ‘victim as purity’. There are three classes now: victims, oppressors, and champion of the victims. And when victimhood becomes the ultimate moral good it is essential to be in the victim class, otherwise you can always be ordered around by someone in a higher ‘moral’ class i.e. a greater victim.
This is quite tricky if you are rich and powerful (see Western women). There are two main solutions.
1. The ‘Assisi’ solution. Recognise your privilege. Give your stuff to those less fortunate than yourself, keeping only what would be reasonable to live on.
2. The ‘DiCaprio’ solution. Shout, wail, gnash your teeth, threaten, bully, ridicule, and oppress anyone who doesn’t do the ‘Assisi’ solution – apart from you, and your friends, and anyone else doing the ‘DiCaprio’ solution.
The ‘DiCaprio’ solution allows you to carry on living a rich western life but feel good about yourself.
Decadence. They whine because they can.
And because they hate:

The Graun is touting this today
“Get Out: the first great paranoia movie of the Trump era”
https://www.theguardian.com/film/2017/mar/06/get-out-movie-jordan-peele-trump
Given how long it takes to produce, shoot, edit and distribute a movie I’m guessing it was shot last year before Trump was even thought of as a possible winner, let alone elected
actually, from the Wiki page
“Principal photography on the film began on February 16, 2016.[14] It filmed in Fairhope, Alabama for three weeks, followed by shooting at Barton Academy and in the Ashland Place Historic District in midtown Mobile, Alabama.[15]”
Conan was wrong. Crushing your enemies and seeing them driven before you is all well and good, but hearing the lamentations of their women gets old fast.
“preparing to run for office, are they?”
It’ll be interesting to see if they get beyond preparing.
And even more interesting to see how they deal with the real world if they do actually run. They’ll get a free ride from the legacy media of course, but hey, things have changed: that’s not the only show out there.
Stock up on popcorn…
The attached is quite an interesting article about a leftist woman seeing the light.

@Ecks
Bloody hell- that’s a read and a half. Cheers for that.
As an aside: I’m in Bergen at the moment, and had a very illuminating conversation with a Somali cab driver. He spent the 20 minutes I was in the car giving al-Shobab a full on, Ecks-style kicking. I have never heard such invective towards anyone, ever (well, outside the Internet).
I fully get why people are apprehensive of a covert Crusade against the west, a sort of Ninja Jihad, but that cabbie- if he’s at all representative of even 10% of the Muslim population- may prove that internal reform is more likely to stop the goatfucking minority than western military policy.
I’m not sure this marching business achieves much, but they seem to enjoy it so much: http://bit.ly/2fPYi5J Let’s not spoil it for them…
@Rob “The utopias of the past saw Man as happy carefree beings. What if being freed from the cares of the world in fact turns everyone into bored, narcissistic psychopaths?”
I think I’ll be quoting you on that…
Saw this wonderful comment under an IWD article
on facebook:
“Sex positive feminists screaming at sex negative feminists screaming at trans supporting feminists screaming at trans negative feminists… It’s just one big clusterfuck of mentally ill victims howling at the moon.”
