As an aside. What is it about candles? And why is it exactly the sort of women, who has the vapours about the merest whiff of cigarette smoke, insists on lighting candles at every opportunity?
Or burning bloody incense? Or those scented oil thingies.

Perhaps some Roman Candles with a 15 minute burn time and small human effigies embedded in them which blaze up and fly out.
