Former prime minister Gordon Brown has issued a late plea for Unionist voters to back Labour, insisting it is the only way to prevent “another divisive referendum” on independence.
OK, Scots Indyref had, decision reached, that’s that for a generation.
Brexit referendum had, decision reached, that’s it, right?
Does anyone think the Tories are more likely to offer one, bearing in mind that Labour would need SNP support?
Great typo in the Guardian :
The ‘generation’ thing was just Alex Salmond giving his opinion, on an opinion based show. People who opposed him also voiced that opinion on opinion based shows thinking that opinion would help their argument too.
We’ve had this since with people on both sides of the Brexit debate opining that a vote to leave EU membership would result in leaving the EEA. It doesn’t mean their opinion was right…
