Eighth, he can do mumbo jumbo on tax, debt, globalisation and trade, none of which makes any economic sense at all. The man if ignorant when it comes to macroeconomics.

Who wrote this?
Lemme guess – Spud wrote it about Timmy.
Close, Snippa wrote it about Hammond.
Murphy’s recent “restrained” ripostes to critical comments on requisitioning private property for housing after the fire
“Respectfully, don’t talk nonsense”
“With respect, if you really think it’s this easy you are a fool”
“Very politely, you are either a) calling [trolling?] b) unable to consider consequences c) blinded by dogma or d) all three”
@Bravefart
The twat is clearly ‘projecting’.
When I saw it I assumed it was about Murphy, and the “Eighth” at the start a brilliant parody.
@Rob
Not very accurate concerning Murphy, sadly. He’s ignorant of both micro and macroeconomics
George S Gordon says:
“…..Can you point to a country that understands macroeconomics, and provides evidence that MMT is correct?”

“I think Caroline Lucas does
Angus McNeil in the SNP does
Few countries do yet, if any”
_______
What more evidence do we need.
I am hoping that, post independence, he’ll convince the hawkeyes that their money can be created out of thin air, spend and then tax (in that order mind) and we will have a real life experiment into whether MMT really works in practice.
If by chance you are currently employed in Scotland I wonder whether you can insist that your salary continues to be paid in £ sterling rather than £ stirling.

We have yet to find a topic of any sort on which Murphy shows even the most basic understanding. This includes accounting in which he is nominally qualified. We have successfully observed no understanding of even the most basic points of
Accounting, politics, philosophy, law, tax, any branch of economics, sociology, statistics, political economy, history.
He is the very model of a modern Major Ignoramus. City University should hang their heads in shame.
To add to Ken’s list: mobile technology, IT, mobile operating systems
I confidently expect his ruminations on, inter alia, the Riemann Hypothesis and the unification of quantum mechanics and general relativity.
