The sexists and the homophobes are citizens, they deserve to be represented

Jeremy Corbyn is under pressure to sack Labour MP Jared O’Mara after he allegedly called a woman an “ugly b****” and made homophobic and racist slurs which he blamed on “lad culture” and “football”.

  1. Jared O’Mara is a sighed up member of their club. So now they are turning on one of their own. Oh dear, how sad, never mind. I’m content to let the enemy destroy one of their own with the weapons they created. My sympathy is non existent. These people don’t do due process.

  2. Did you see the article where this chap says that it is OK for him to have said nasty things because he is a labour member, but were he a Tory he should be forced to resign?
    An utter hypocrite.

  3. I’ve been a committed football fan and person who identifies as male for an awfully long time and managed never to say the things he said.

I’d have a bit more sympathy for a man being condemned because of stupid things he said 15 years ago if he just admitted he had shitty opinions and didn’t try to blame them on his peers’ present day bête noirs.

  4. > they deserve to be represented

Under proportional representation, maybe. But we have a first-past-the-post system.

  5. Likely what he said are the most honest statements he has ever made in his life.

Also the Fish-Faced Cow –were the dozy bitch even awake–has had an opportunity given her on a plate to paint Corbog as the enemy of freedom and free speech that he is.

If only the vile slag were not herself an enemy of freedom and free speech eh?

  6. Owen Jones wrote a piece yesterday in the Guardian on this and seemed ok with this guy staying in Labour.

  7. I bet it hurts even more for Nick Clegg that he was unseated by such a tosser. I wonder what a lot of the people who voted for him think now.

    “He’s still better than Clegg”.

    Amazed.

    No wait…not amazed.

  10. He’s now been suspended.

Cue the Labour internal enquiry by an authoritative person like Lord Shami Kebab QC which will absolve him and the party of responsibility for all offensive sexist remarks
