Perhaps this is a cunning plan to curry sympathy with some lefty technical college in the eu so they will offer him a job so that his promise of leaving these shores for the Elysian fields of europe can at last be fulfilled- or more likely he’s fallen out with someone in the eu and is now getting his revenge by bad mouthing them. Then again it might just be early onset potato blight.

I was going to make a cogent comment using a quote to illustrate my witty and pithy critique. But after struggling for 30 minutes i realised that you can’t do that with utter claptrap. A friend was on the interview panel, if it weren’t already a foregone conclusion he wouldn’t have got the job. If he was taken seriously he would have got a job at Cass not in International Politics.
