One of my parish councillors complains regularly that “everything’s done by the same old people” (which includes her). I tell her to think of us as the parish cabinet, getting things done without the oar-stabbing of those that can’t be arsed to be involved but just like to complain.
When it comes to clubs there are three types of people:
Those that make things happen, those that complain about those that make things happen but never step forward when committee roles need filling, and those who get on with enjoying the benefits of the club.
I speak from m the experience of 8 years on golf committees.
BiND, your categories are spot on, EXCEPT, I have a neighbor who complains about the neighborhood, yet he works hard for the neighborhood. It is bizarre, I suspect there is no one else on earth like him.

Ditto.
I thought it was the result of some farcical EU ruling about keeping people’s data?
Same here (Chrome), though Google ‘remembers’ it for me.
And another with Firefox.
But thanx to the peeps above for sharing. Was about to embark on a lengthy exploration of the onboard ware in the presumption a bit of it was buggering around. Is it WordPress or unique to TW?
WordPress has just updated itself.
??
It now won’t let you post without providing an email address (which I think was not the case previously). But [email protected] works fine.
