i note that the moron can’t keep in a straight line regarding taxation. Yesterday it was tax controls inflation as is not needed to finance spending, today” To help achieve this the state has to tax, because it has had to spend.” Professor charlatan.

My comment on the site seems to have been deleted, so maybe not free to comment after all.

I assume the site name Brave New Europe is intended to be ironic? In Huxley’s similarly-titled novel, the socialism was anything but democratic…

Did you include any of – far-left, obnoxious, piggy-eyed, thick, tenured, fat, cvnt – in the text comment?

Oh, didn’t spot the name of the website, so rather apposite that they feature an article by an epsilon semi-moron then.
They can hardly prevent me from posting with my name?
moqifen
@bravefart – no. I just asked why his position on tax had changed from only needed to control inflation to needed to finance spending. Might have mentioned magic money tree.

My comment hasn’t got through and I honestly didn’t include any of the words in BF’s list. I pointed out that countries that styled themselves Democratic Socialist didn’t have a glowing record of respecting individual liberty.
I couldn’t resist pointing out that as a noun the word “socialist” couldn’t mean “for the people” because that would be an adjective and maybe nouns weren’ in the current five year plan?

Only you got through so far – and my guess is you will be gone shortly. In a ‘democratic socialist’ state I am afraid ‘far right trolling’ in not permissible. More to follow on the post but suffice to say Murphy continues to excel. If manufacture of Straw men generated an income he’d be a billionaire.

There are rather more comments under the article in the version at Ely Towers. This exchange for example, where the fists have been hitting the keyboard rather hard:
Dom S says:
Nobody to my knowledge claims it works because nobody claims it exists.
I’ve asked you to name one economist that claims all markets are empirically perfect as you suggest (ie that monopolies, oligopolies etc. don’t exist).
Can I take it that despite it being ‘widely taught’, you can’t actually name one person who teaches it?

When the facts change, he changes his mind. What’s wrong with that? When they change again tomorrow he’ll change it back. Again, what’s wrong with that? And next Tuesday he will change his mind eleven times in the space of four hours as the facts oscillate rapidly. Again, I appeal to you in a candid manner, what is wrong with that?

When are his first tranche of students due to hit the job market, and then start suing for their money back?
moqifen
@Rob – but the facts haven’t changed. Either tax pays for spending or it doesn’t. He doesn’t change his ideas as facts change- he isn’t intelligent enough for that. He’s just a fuckwit.

Tried to post another comment – “I’d be very happy to hear your opinion.
Best regards
Richard” – that’s alie – how many comments been deleted today. Didn’t accept it. Looks like closed comments after tim posted. He is such a big coward.

Murphy didn’t write this. I’ve read his stuff; this isn’t his.

Interesting – Ritchie rarely uses the word ‘socialism’. I suspect this was due to his grants from ‘apolitical’ charities but now they have ended perhaps he is seeking to align himself more explicitly with Labour? Suspect McDonnell has a long memory though.

My comment is also in Limbo. I merely said that it all sounded extremely interesting and I would like to know more about the free stuff.

@interested. I noted the sarcasm, but as the potato doesn’t do facts – they get in the way of his cockeyed theories, so the humour fell flat.
