Hills is a one, eh?September 18, 2018 Tim WorstallPolitics23 CommentsFourth, there’s Trump’s breathtaking corruption. Yes, Hillary Clinton is accusing someone else of corruption. previousManaged democracynextSo why doesn’t anyone do this? 23 thoughts on “Hills is a one, eh?” The Sage September 18, 2018 at 9:56 am As a wise man once said, they always project. bloke in spain September 18, 2018 at 10:13 am Breathtaking, as in admiration? If Trump is corrupt, no-one seems to have actually nailed down when & where. Whereas Hills.& Bill … Martin Audley September 18, 2018 at 10:32 am WhatAboutIsm at its best. Who’s the president? How long ago since the election? If Hillary’s corrupt then yeah, prosecute her – all the apparatus of state is there to do it, with full Republican support. But she’s not relevant right now. Nice try to distract though from the most corrupt president ever. The Sage September 18, 2018 at 10:41 am > Nice try to distract though from the most corrupt president ever. Don’t worry, Obama’s turn will be coming along soon. DocBud September 18, 2018 at 10:48 am It’s been nearly two years since Donald Trump won enough Electoral College votes to become president of the United States. She set the tone in the first sentence. jgh on a tablet September 18, 2018 at 12:28 pm And if they had had a different election system they would have campaigned differently, Trump would have won, and they would still complain. “Despite not winning a majority of states, Trump won…” abacab September 18, 2018 at 12:44 pm “WhatAboutIsm at its best.” I guess you didn’t get the point that it was Hillary who accused Trump of corruption…… So this is not whataboutery at all. Mr Ecks September 18, 2018 at 12:49 pm Killery is a supremely corrupt cow but that is not relevant now says Audley. It wasn’t fucking “relevant” when the foul cow was in was it chum? In fact–due to corrupt leftist slime — it NEVER EVER will be “relevant” will it you liar? Trump most corrupt? That isn’t derangement– it is brazen lying evil. BlokeInBrum September 18, 2018 at 1:20 pm To be fair, I never imagined that Trump was as pure as the driven snow. However, despite being involved in the property business for decades (in New York!) and the intense scrutiny that he has been put under, I can’t ever recall hearing of any serious charges of wrongdoing being leveled against him. I don’t count the politically motivated accusations from his detractors in this. Could he actually be one of the most honest Presidents ever? Diogenes September 18, 2018 at 1:32 pm Notice that Martín Audley supplies no evidence whatsoever? Yet another Trump hating loser. When will those idiots stop wasting space on the planet? Flubber September 18, 2018 at 1:36 pm “the intense scrutiny that he has been put under, I can’t ever recall hearing of any serious charges of wrongdoing being leveled against him.” Even when, via the FISA process, they used the NSA to spy on every call, email etc that he and his team made, they couldn’t find anything. Indeed, even Strzock and Page admitted via their texts that the Mueller probe was set up based on merely a suspicion, not any evidence at all. Hillary is simply shitting it, now that her protection in the form of a hopelessly corrupted FBI/DoJ is no longer in a position to save her. Re: Martin Audley You might want to consider that via your consumption of fake news you have been brainwashed. Lots of mud thrown, but where’s the evidence? Louise Mensch’s tweets dont count. Rob September 18, 2018 at 1:57 pm It’s been nearly two years since Donald Trump won enough Electoral College votes to become president of the United States. Clinton spent $781m on her campaign but didn’t understand even the simplest facts about the election process that I’m sure even eleven year olds are expected to know. Oblong September 18, 2018 at 2:00 pm What exactly are the allegations of corruption with the Clintons based on? I’m just interested in the main threads I should read about to make my mind up. You hear a lot about it but I’ve never gone delving into it. Steve September 18, 2018 at 2:05 pm Martin – If Hillary’s corrupt She is. then yeah, prosecute her – all the apparatus of state is there to do it, with full Republican support. Lol. A wee bit naive there, laddie. But she’s not relevant right now. Hillary fans often say this, as if she was a sweet old lady just tending to her knitting and being attacked by right-wing brutes for no reason. In reality, she’s been campaigning ever since she lost the election, popping up on TV to read from Michael Wolff’s book (remember that was the One Weird Trick to stop Drumpf?), and recently attacking Trump’s Supreme Court nominee. She may be deluded (and bent as a butcher’s hook) but she’s not irrelevant. Nice try to distract though from the most corrupt president ever. In all sincerity, Trump is probably the cleanest President since Carter. He didn’t need to go into politics to make money, he was already a billionaire. Clinton sold anything that wasn’t nailed down to the Chinese Dubya was beholden to Big Oil. Obama was a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wall St. Nobody owns Trump. That’s why he represents an existential threat to the old political order. Steve September 18, 2018 at 2:16 pm Oblong – they’ve been selling influence for decades. It’s how come Mrs Clinton somehow managed to make hundreds of millions of dollars from her six-figure-salary State Department job, and it’s how come African despots and Asian kleptocrats were so keen to shovel money into the Clinton Foundation (before suddenly deciding to stop doing that after she lost the election) – because the King of Morocco can’t get enough of charidee, y’see John Fembup September 18, 2018 at 2:25 pm American Democrat Party Leadershio firmly established, by defending Bill and Hillary Clinton’s careers, that weak character and corruption don’t matter – so long as the policy results are acceptable. Remember “It’s the economy, stupid”? Remember “What difference, at this point, does it make”? So are Trumps policies yielding unacceptable results? If so, expose that, and vote him out. Instead Democrats endlessly disparage Trump personally. That tactic not only fails to expose unacceptable policy results, but ignores the Democrats’ own standards. So I think the Democratic Party leadership are using tactics that are ineffective, divisive, self-destructive, and harmful to the country – and they need to stop, now. BraveFart September 18, 2018 at 2:27 pm Martin Audley You might want to get lawyered up mate. Or you could go the full Musk and refer to Pedos too. The Pedant-General September 18, 2018 at 4:09 pm I’m betting that “What happened” does not get to grips with what happened at all. Flubber September 18, 2018 at 4:13 pm Careful – know too much about Kilarry and you get Arkanacided. Alex September 18, 2018 at 4:16 pm @Oblong Look at the Clinton Foundation and follow the money: who it came from and why, where it went and why. Pcar September 18, 2018 at 6:58 pm @Oblong Start with Uranium One and also the Clinton Foundation & Haiti Gamecock September 18, 2018 at 9:38 pm Amen on Haiti. I bet the Clintons got a billion dollars out of that.
