Undercover police officers offered sex for £100
Might not have quite put it that way myself.

And they were ‘undercover’, ha ha…
“Mary Cowe, prosecuting, said a news article suggesting Butterfly’s was a brothel appeared in February 2017.
The next day police visited the premises, where they checked women’s welfare and Davis said she was the owner, renting rooms out to women for massage.
Butterfly’s has been boarded up
Miss Cowe said: “The women said they were fine and happy to be there.”
Even the prosecution accepts nobody has been harmed and it was voluntary.
What a waste of everyone’s time and money. Presumably those women will now go on to the street and be in far more danger.
OT,
I’m sat in Suncorp Stadium listening to Phil Collins (anniversary present for MrsBud), god it’s awful, He was always a mediocre pop singer, now he lets his teenage son play 10 minute drum solos. Someone please nuke the place. I’ll stick to diamonds in the future.
Two mistakes
1) the girls should never offer sex. You wait for the client to ask if there’s any extras available. This then means you aren’t soliciting.
2) you can’t take a cut of the sex. You charge for providing a room. What goes on in there is none of your business.
That said, I’m amazed rub-a-tug shops are still in business. Most escorts are working via internet, mobiles and using flats and Air BnBs.

Huge gigs with clapped out rockers in stadiums are mostly so that people say they’ve seen them. They cost a fortune, you watch a screen, the bar is rubbish and overpriced and you spend hours getting out of the car park. Oh, and the lead singer’s voice is generally fucked.
Seriously who pays for this? Paul’s a legend, but his voice is fucked.

I’d rather see a Beatles tribute band for £5 on the door, a proper bar, no queueing, and when it’s done, you walk out and catch the bus.
@Bloke on M4 “I’d rather see a Beatles tribute band for £5 on the door”
I once saw a Queen tribute band. They were very good but the thig that I couldn’t get my head around was that they were selling CDs. And people were buying them.
For a hundred quid I’d want the uniform on, thank you very much.
“Undercover police officers offered sex for £100”
Wasn’t that long ago they’d have gone in in uniform and got the sex free as an inducement to leave the brothel alone.
I’m not sure the state of the nation was affected much by that.
Maybe the statement is correct and they joined in to actually do something constructive for the community they work for. They could have been lady cops.
My thought was lady cops trying to catch kerb-crawlers.
I like a good tribute band from time to time. Over the years I’ve seen ABBA, the Beatles, ELP, two Pink Floyd’s and Queen. I’ve also seen real Queen on the Magic tour at Knebworth. Obviously the tribute isn’t the real thing but they were excellent and I didn’t have to watch from a mile away.

There’s a “rub-a-tug shop” in Edinburgh directly opposite a cop-shop. I’d imagine freebies on demand.
imo prostitution and brothels should be legal.
Timmy –
Never assume.

My guess is regulars prefer knowing where a place is, who is working there, what they can expect and for how much rather than having to negotiate and go somewhere new each time.
@TN
Friends of a past biker-chick GF confirmed that. They had many regulars who visited when they were “on call”. Some found a BF too.
Stoeyground,
Aussie Pink Floyd are definitely worth seeing.
As an ELP fan who’s seen them live I wouldn’t want to see a tribute band. I saw Led Zep at Knebworth and 25 years later a Led ZEP tribute band who were dreadful. Lesson learned.
“My guess is regulars prefer knowing where a place is, who is working there, what they can expect and for how much rather than having to negotiate and go somewhere new each time.”
But you generally don’t know who is working there. Girls come and go between places, change shift times, might be occupied. You could go and find none of them take your fancy. They fall out with the owner, they’re working somewhere else and you lose contact.
The new world means punters and workers are directly connected. If you want a regular girl to see, it’s much easier.
Elsewhere, Diane Abbott is accusing QT presenter of not being properly briefed.
Abbott commented “I counted Fiona Bruce’s mistakes. She made four-tenty. You could employ a battleship of police officers with that much”.

The same is true for a pub, but a regular would still have a reasonable idea of who he might bump into when he’s there.

There are reasons both parties may prefer an arrangement with an intermediary.

Maybe I’m missing something obvious about the industry, but couldn’t you solve that by just getting her mobile number once you find one you like? Or does that only work with amateurs?
I’ve had a sheltered life, somebody’s going to have to tell me if £100 is a bargain or a rip-off.
