These criminal gangs are somewhat of a mystery, aren’t they? According to media reports, there’s no-one ever actually a member of one. Even suspects arrested by the police turn out to be truly wonderful people, hard working, pillars of the community …

It is indeed a tragedy that these violent criminals only target aspiring footballers, barristers and rappers, rather than their own sort.
Although considering how few of our urban yoot actually associate with these ‘gangs’ (being busy with football training etc), I am surprised they are a threat. Surely each gang can only have one or two members?
Theodore Dalrymple noted that in his many years as a prison doctor that he came across many people who had fallen in with the wrong crowd, but never anyone who would admit to being that wrong crowd.

Sports science is like psychology for kids with abs. Your best career option with it is to become a personal trainer. Most people with degrees in sports science are buff baristas.

Surely his implication isn’t that the two events are linked?
Alex Beresford was a young man the first time he saw a knife brandished on the streets. He was hanging around outside a friend’s shop in the tough St Paul’s area of Bristol…..
‘tough’ St Pauls, famous for its vibrant riots in the early eighties. Again, why knives should be a problem there is a mystery no-one is able to solve.
It must be the “tragic dirt”.
When I was a kid I used to go to school with a fuck-off great lock knife in my pocket. Any bigger & it’d have been classed as a sword. It was a craze at the timer. We all had them. Only casualty I recall was some kid got his foot punctured playing stretch.

Given that we are talking about the British, one has to assume that if a member of the gang had used an incorrect gender identifier while committing the murder, the police would have solved it by now.
You need guns and the right to use them. Period. Then again, you’re wogs, so there isn’t a chance you’ll be able to figure that one out.

Crouch End, North London, is somewhere I’ve lived for two periods. First time round, start of the seventies, it was bedsit land. Sizeable Irish element. Run-down & rough. Don’t remember much crime though. Sleazy but safe. Second time was from the mid 90’s into the mid 00’s. Different place.Full gentrification. Wine bars & frockshops, but mostly restaurants. A positive infestation of media peeps. Half the faces in the check-out queue at Budgens you knew off the telly. And also rated as one of London’s top crime picks. I had 3 attempted muggings within a hundred yards of my front door. One of my neighbours was stabbed to death on her doorstep at 8 AM. The penalty of being just down the road from Tottenham & excellent grazing for the animals they keep there.
But also. No doubt Crouch End residents in the 00;s reported more crime. Different people from the 70’s. Crime then, if it happened, you didn’t report. Police you didn’t want to get involved with. By now, I’d imagine Hornsey nick’s got a separate task force just for Twatter abuse.
DtP, the decadence pervades the West. The people don’t understand that they must protect themselves. They believe – falsely – that someone else is going to protect them.
That government that they think is going to protect them is doing everything EXCEPT protecting them. Importing aliens with a murderous creed. Using law enforcement to enforce speech codes. Making it illegal to possess the tools needed to defend yourself.
