Kennel Club warns premium White Swiss Shepherd dogs could be sold off as cheaper German cousins ahead of Crufts debut

Not really:

Pet owners have been warned to be vigilant by the Kennel Club when buying White Swiss Shepherd dogs amid fears premium priced puppies are being passed off as their cheaper German cousins.

Why would someone want to lose money that way?

  1. In a separate warning the KC Is anxious number of foreign dogs will plummet in the event of a no-deal Brexit.

Bollocks. Pet Passports aren’t an EU thing.

Countries that have signed up to the Pet Travel Scheme include:

All EU countries (and associated territories), Andorra, Antigua & Barbuda, Aruba, Ascension Island, Australia, Bahrain, Barbados, Bermuda, Canada, Cayman Islands, Chile, Croatia, Falkland Islands, Fiji, French Polynesia, Grenadines, Hawaii, Hong Kong, Iceland, Jamaica, Japan, Liechtenstein, Mauritius, Mayotte, Monaco, Montserrat, Netherlands Antilles, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Norway, Russia, St Helena, St Kitts & Nevis, St Pierre & Miquelon, St Vincent, San Marino, Singapore, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, USA (mainland), Vanuatu, Vatican, Wallis & Futuna.

    From the UK government website:

There will be no change to the current requirements for pets entering the UK from the EU after 29 March.

The problem could be going from the UK into the EU if they are dicks about it, which is amusing because it’s their countries that have rabid animals not the UK.

  2. One suspects the Valerie Elliott doesn’t really understand how the english language works. Despite having a degree in it.

  3. Nice dogs White Swiss Shepherds. lightweight, smart, calm, agile, athletic, decent backs and hindlegs, great support and family dogs, in fact rather like GSDs before the kennel club started deforming them.
