  1. This is why I have the smallest violin for “women are having to go into prostitution to feed their kids” stories. Why should some bloke pay to raise your kids without the benefits that a father would get?

  2. Most single mothers are wedded to a ‘husband’ with comparatively unlimited funds – the state.

    I thought you were saying that some blokes were paying to raise their kids. Although possibly getting *more* of the benefits a father might get.

  4. Maybe even have a husband first, before the kids? Keep him round as a source of affection, love, life skills money? Anyone?
