An answer at Quora

We have dreamt of a 5 trillion dollar economy, it sounds difficult. But if we do not aim high, how will the country progress?

Who is trying to have a $5 trillion economy? The US already has one, as does China. No other country does as yet.

So, obviously, start with lots of people. Then what? Well, probably have a free market and capitalist economy. Then wait.

Other than that there’s not all that much to it.

  1. Little else is requisite to carry a state to the highest degree of opulence from the lowest barbarism, but peace, easy taxes, and a tolerable administration of justice: all the rest being brought about by the natural course of things.

  2. Are you getting spam from Quora as well? I get it on the addy I use for ads on hooker sites. “What’s it like to live in Spain?” was the stunning conundrum they sent me this morning. Are they actually asking me or telling me? Er… the same as living in the largest country on the Iberian peninsular?

  3. There is in fact a way to make money at Quora. To ask questions. You then get paid according to how many answer, how many readers of he answers etc. The amounts you can make are appealing to a Third W student and just about no one else.

Thus, if you answer questions you get spammed to answer more. Even knowing this sometimes they ask a question that’s fun to answer.

  4. I had wondered, Tim. Some of the questions seem to come from someone locked in a cellar since birth.
So this all could have been sparked off by -Buscar: mujer, tetas grandes, malaga ?
Must be more careful what questions I ask in future..

  5. They could also alter the equation used to calculate the size of the economy by adding a multiplier to the part consisting of government spending . . .
