It ain’t that Joe is old

In recent months Mr Biden has made a slew of errors in public, sometimes simply saying the wrong word and at other times making factual inaccuracies.

He’s always made these sorts of mistakes.

  1. “He’s always made these sorts of mistakes.”

He has, and the media used to ignore it because they were supporting him as a fellow Democrat. But now that he’s been marked down as an impediment to more left-wing and progressive candidates coming through it’s a stick to beat him with.

  2. Joe’s obviously a Savilier Dan Quayle, but what about the Torygraph’s gaffes?

a soldier he once presented with a medal did not want it because the person colleague tried to save had died

We’ve got to teach journos how to read good, and do other stuff good too.

  3. Just try to imagine what kind of mental issue would result in plagiarizing a Neil Kinnock speech!

Watching Joe Biden makes me feel young. I’m old enough to remember him being stupid the first time he ran for president… back in ’88.

He lost the Democratic Party nomination to – wait for it – Mike Dukakis, who was crushed in the election by – wait for it – George H.W. Bush.

Boy, the punchlines just write themselves, don’t they?

  5. @Pcar. it all fits together. Biden’s running to be the candidate of one of the creepiest political parties on the planet. They’re made for each other.

  6. He has – but not at this level. When you forget the name of the President of the United States – a person you worked with, campaigned with, for *eight years* – then you might be having a bit of a mind problem.

I saw a video of him getting confused as to whether he was in New Hampshire or Vermont. Granted – that’s easy to do. Except that he likely would have been briefed on which little New England town he was in before stepping off the bus, specifically to prevent gaffs like this.

“I just start sniffing them. It’s like a magnet. Just sniff. I don’t even wait. And when you’re President, they let you do it. You can do anything.”
