Lies, lies, lies

Other competitors included the current Miss Lincolnshire, Aysha Khan, who wore a wetsuit during the swimwear round.

She said: “I don’t really show much skin, because that’s what makes me feel comfortable.

“I didn’t wear a wetsuit just because my religion prohibits me.’”

Also among the finalists were Eleanor Farr, who has a titanium hip caused by rheumatoid arthritis and Lucy Krogdahl, who showed her self-harm scars.

Angie Beasley, director Miss England Ltd said: “England is a country that is completely occupied by people of all sorts. The Miss England contest has always been there for, and indeed encouraged, participation by every group and every type. We encourage entries from every ethnicity.”

You’re still excluding both men and the married. So it’s not every type, is it?

  1. I like muslim , and Asian, women. When i was at university, and painfully shy, the muslim women were nicer to me, than any other group at the university.
My fellow whites men and white women were more likely to treat me like a disease, while muslim women were nice to me.
Muslim women are nice, and are often picked on by racists.
Up with asian women. There are great people.

  2. Can’t wait to see this collection of letterboxes, cyborgs, and cenobites on page 3 of the super soaraway Sun. It’ll be like the randiest Halloween ever. Phwooooaaar!

  3. Tony, what was wrong with you during your university days? Treat you like a disease, why would they do that?

    Very oddly put.

  4. If not in pursuit of the ideal, why does Miss England exist? “We strive for mediocrity, and the bizarre. Tune in at 9 tonight.”

It seems like the first day of a Mecum Collector Car Auction, where nothing but $3000 USED CARS go across the block.

  5. “Other competitors included the current Miss Lincolnshire, Aysha Khan, who wore a wetsuit during the swimwear round.”

Which tells us that those selecting the winners of these contests are not representative of the general population.

  6. Actually there is no swimsuit part of the competition, but there is a Beach Beauty optional round that photos are submitted for with the winner getting a trip to Mauritius.
So she fancied the trip and decided to enter then try and make a statement to see if that would help her win, after all a surfing wetsuit isn’t out of line for Beach Beauty especially posing with a board

  7. Surely beauty contests are such an anachronism that nobody really cares if they are totally ruined by this kind of woke pc crap.

  8. “The Miss England contest has always been there for, and indeed encouraged, participation by every group and every type.”

Bullshit. It used to be about pretty girls.

Stonyground: it was an anachronism after porn grew in newsagents and on VHS. The original reason was showing birds in swimsuits.

English is a second language for you, “Tony Brown.”
