I’m going to come out and say it. This year, I am hoping to see as many unsexy Halloween costumes as possible. Not only that, I hope this is the start of a bigger, general trend of women being allowed to wear whatever the hell they want in general.
What are these laws that prevent this free choice?
“I am excited, also, to think that this could be the year when people will stop turning their heads at my unshaven body …”
Ugly woman wants less competition, NEWS AT ELEVEN!
If he needs that much shaving, maybe he’s really a bloke trapped in a bloke’s body
One possible solution is not to wear any Halloween costume, like we all used to not do decades ago.
Funny how the Guardian, which obsesses over and criticises everything American, adopts many things that are American.
Halloween is a Northwest European festival; how dare she, as an Asian woman, culturally appropriate it!
“The world has also rejected sexy fashion trends over the last year: push-up bras are near dead; our shoes are getting bigger and uglier; and the baggy, unflattering jeans that a 2003 SNL skit dubbed Mom Jeans (“cut generously, to fit a mom’s body”) have made an unprecedented comeback this year. And that’s not even touching on the popularity of prairie dresses.”
Not anywhere I’ve been. Summer’s been a competition to see who can squeeze themselves into the tiniest micro shorts & generally expose the most flesh.
And the very tight jeans that are mostly rips.
All in all, a delightful summer.
“I am excited, also, to think that this could be the year when people will stop turning their heads at my unshaven body …”
It’s not their heads you’re turning, it’s their stomachs.
There’s also the point that we usually expect a bit more intimacy than just being a passer by to find out whether a Brazilian has been had or not. Although with this summer’s shorts perhaps not…..
“I hope this is the start of a bigger, general trend of women being allowed to wear whatever the hell they want”
Is she preaching Islamophobia, then?

This x 100.

Not a chance. This is the last year I get to wear my Guy Verhofstadt mask.
Girls should wear burqas. Cos freedom is slavery.
Does she know that “The Handmaid’s Tale” is not an instruction manual?

MAGA hats excluded, naturally.
bis,
I followed a few of her links on the article and this sort of thing is always the same: some celeb says they like a thing, or wears a thing, so it’s in. Like, Lady Gaga isn’t wearing push-up bras. So, they’re out. A celeb in a thing they like wears clogs, so clogs are in.
I had a night out in Manchester recently, and no, women are wearing skyscraper heels and making the best out of their tits like they always have (Manchester women probably dress better than anywhere in the UK).
I am excited, also, to think that this could be the year when people will stop turning their heads at my unshaven body
Turning towards or turning away? Very confusing.
I assume that as the subject is “female body hair” then they are turning away, in which case:
Men are evil sexist bastards when they stare at women
Men are evil sexist bastards when they don’t stare at women
Why even attempt to engage rationally with these people? It isn’t possible.
“I hope this is the start of a bigger, general trend of women being allowed to wear whatever the hell they want in general.”
I could have sworn that the trend of letting women wear whatever the hell they want is what has led to the proliferation of sexy Halloween costumes.
imo Halloween allows Girls/Women to dress slutty in public once a year and they love it
Proof they enjoy it: Cos Play conventions
Pooppy Noor (another miserabilist leftie) “wondering whether anybody at the party really thought I was pretty” – unlikely
