When Jezza crashes and burns and Owen realises he backed the wrong horse, it’s going to be biblical.
Mr Ecks
Because he’s Marxist scum.
Jussi
He’s a fantasist too.

Being privy to Owen Jones’ fantasies is not a prospect I would relish. As for “lap dog”. You’d want to wash your hands really well, wouldn’t you? In bleach.

Christ, he’s not one of oors is he?

He is campaigning for Corbyn because he is a Labour activist and Corbyn supporter.
This article exists purely because he is trying to pass himself off as a ‘journalist’ who happens to be into politics. It is complete balls.

Was that for the 2017 election?

His mum got around

“My earliest memory of canvassing for Labour was following my mum around a damp Falkirk tower block.”
That would be one of those Stalinist blocks perpetrated by socialist architects, would it? And in Fa’kirk, very possibly built by a Labour council, eh?

That sentence gives pause for thought. Before the SNP got into its stride, Falkirk was solid Labour, yes? So a Labour council was responsible for the tower block. So his Mum was campaigning for the party gave its residents a damp tower block.
It’s not the facts of the matter. But why would one write something brings attention to them?

The real adult true believers all had this childhood indoctrination into the party/socialism. I have former friends currently campaigning for Corbyn who proudly tell others that their parents “would have kicked me out of the house if I had ever supported the Tories” (as an aside – these exact same people claimed that the only reason people vote for the Tories is because their parents told them to. With no self-reflection). You will never break this level of fundamental conditioning.
I personally find it rather distasteful, and borderline abuse, to drag children into your own political beliefs – let children be children and all – but this is a mindset eminently not shared by the left (see also – children being brought along to anti-Brexit marches).

But this is the surest way to enrol children into the Party’s youth movement and train them to denounce their parents.

Falkirk was a dry & sunny utopia until 1979
Then Maggie was elected. Whereupon she tore the roofs of the tower blocks and changed Scotland’s climate to a dull, grey, wet ghetto of poverty, disease & pestilence
But but… hes not a labour supporter…

Let us not forget that little Owen was not always the faithful and enthusiastic arse-licker he is today:

He makes the Vicar of Bray appear a model of consistency.
