But I do know is that the Cheif Rabbi’s friend Boris Johnson is a racist, homophobic, misogynist liar who supports a war waged by the most anti-Semitic state on earth.
Who actually is the most anti-semitic state on Earth? Hamas? Hezbollah? Germany still? Who?
Further, given Boris’ love for the laydeez entirely unsure that calling him misogynistic works. And the homophobia? What? After all, he’s hardly the only one who thinks Alan Duncan is a prat, is he?
The lefties are just unbelievable about this. Mumble that it’s bad and you should do something (but you won’t) if you must, but going on the attack?
Argue the toss about whether the man laid a wreath for the Black September murderers, but he was definitely ligging around with people who were laying a wreath for the Black September murderers. There’s simply no innocent explanation for that.
But, but.. islamofobia innit?
And I would accept that Labour has not done enough to tackle that issue. But nor have the Tories, just as the Tories have completely failed to tackle Islamophobia in its tanks.
I didn’t know the Crusader tank was still in service. That Monty, eh? He probably didn’t even like curry.
‘a racist, homophobic, misogynist liar’
It’s ad hom season when you can’t argue issues.
“Taxes should be lower.”
“You RACIST!”
Until about last week, Jeremy’s friends – and we must assume Richard Murphy’s friends – in Hamas had as their charter a lunatic document which stated that trees and rocks would one day be calling out ‘O moslem! There is a jew hiding behind me, come and kill him!’
But Boris letterboxes.
But I do know is that the Cheif [sic] Rabbi’s friend Boris Johnson is a racist, homophobic, misogynist liar who supports a war waged by the most anti-Semitic state on earth.
I’m no fan of Boris Johnson but that is just evidence free lazy virtue signalling.
Its customary for the leaders of all religions and faiths to pray for a new PM. Praying for them is not a sign of friendship or even approval. I’ll bet the Chief Rabbi will pray for Corbyn in the event he becomes PM, no doubt something along the lines of grant him him some wisdom to understand the past and the moral strength when making difficult decisions.
And here’s what a quick DuckDuckGo search found on Boris’s homophobia. From Pink News:
As for racist, that’s meaningless, we’re all racists nowadays.
“Because I am bored of the trolls who exploit this issue I will not be opening this post to comments, largely because I will not have time to deal with them today. Comments relating to it on other posts will be deleted.”
Would be intensely funny if Boris got lawyered up over this and extracted damages from the fat lying cvnt.
Note to Richard Murphy – we’ve copied the screenshot of your intemperate comments.

“Boris Johnson is a racist, homophobic, misogynist liar who supports a war waged by the most anti-Semitic state on earth.”
Enough about his good points, what about the bad ones?
Steve,
“But, but.. islamofobia innit?”
I curse Cameron for ever giving the useless, vindictive Warsi a peerage. She’s a thorn in the side of the party.
I’m out leafleting for the local party and I’m doing it with various shades of brown people. I think the local Conservative activists might be slightly over-representative of minorities than the local population.
Personally, I see nothing wrong with Islamophobia. Religion is like supporting Man Utd, being a communist or preferring Macs to Windows. You can choose not to do those things. You don’t deserve protection for your weird medieval ideas, just because you claim that a Sky Fairy said so. And I’d rather be in the same party as Sajid Javid, a man who treats Ayn Rand and Margaret Thatcher as his gods, than most members of the Conservative Party.
As well as which country actually is the most anti-Semitic, can anyone tell me which one Murphy is referring to?
Apparently there’s a letter in the FT signed by 163 economists supporting Corbyn’s spending plans. It’s paywalled so I’ve only seen it mentioned, but is Murphy one of them?
Have the feeling it’s the Saudi war on Yemen that’s being referenced. British arms exports an’all that. Obviously Saudi Arabia is not known as a haven of religious tolerance, but they are de facto one of Israel’s allies (at least in the “enemy of my enemy” sense) in the region so the truth is rather blurry.
BiND: “I’ll bet the Chief Rabbi will pray for Corbyn in the event he becomes PM, no doubt something along the lines of grant him him some wisdom to understand the past and the moral strength when making difficult decisions.”
To paraphrase from ‘Fiddler on the Roof’:”May God bless and keep Jeremy Corbyn……far away from us!”
BoM4,
Personally, I see nothing wrong with Islamophobia. Religion is like supporting Man Utd, being a communist or preferring Macs to Windows. You can choose not to do those things.
Islamists and progressives started using the term to shut down criticism of, and debate about, Islam after it was pointed out that shouting racist doesn’t work because they aren’t a race. (That really hurt because Jews are a race and therefore antisemitism is racist.)
JuliaM – Did he really have to biddy biddy bum all day long though?
BoM4 – Cameron was probably expecting some loyalty and gratitude. Yuge mistake.
They’ve got another one up in Scotland as an MEP. All she seems to do is tweet all day about islamofobiainnit.
Once we leave the EU we’re gunna have to take the Conservative Party behind the woodshed.
I recently asked a leftie friend who was going on about Trump being a racist, homophobic, misogynistic etc to show me what he had done since elected to attack or remove rights from women, LGTQ, people of colour and so on. Still waiting for an answer, about the best they can come up with is picked a Supreme Court judge they don’t like
Steve, “Once we leave the EU we’re gunna have to take the Conservative Party behind the woodshed.”
Yeah, that’ll happen.
I’ll shut up now. None of us on either side of this divide is persuading the others. But good luck. Let me know if you need help.
I’m sure hurty feelings caused by antisemitism and islamophobia are the worst things ever, but it’s English people who are actually being attacked:

@RichardT, So have as many as 201 economists seen the light, or has economics been advanced by their funerals (h/t Max Plank)?
Which state and war is Ritchie referring to?
@BiND November 26, 2019 at 1:16 pm
Section 28 told schools what Not to do
I assume his Manifesto promises he’ll abolish Cameron/May’s law that tells primary & secondary schools they Must promote LBGT+ to all children then.
Does it?
@BoM4
+1 on Warsi
Edward – I think I’ve been pretty bullish about Boris, even when he was in the political wilderness. But that doesn’t change the bigger picture.
The Conservatives can ignore demographics and economics, but these things won’t ignore them. There’s a not infinite amount of ruin in a nation, so I don’t predict a long and happy future for a “right wing” party that refuses to control immigration while simultaneously controlling your carbon footprint. Either or both of those things will blow up in their faces, Acme Corporation style, because they’re in direct opposition to what most people who can reasonably be expected to vote for a conservative party want.
We’re not immune to the sort of realignment going on in France, Spain, and Italy. Only a few months ago the Tory Party practically had a “Do Not Resuscitate” sign over its bed. Don’t mistake the Boris bounce for a lasting settlement. It’s a temporary reprieve. They have an opportunity to enter the populist golden zone Mrs Thatcher once captured, but I don’t expect them to take it. A lot of people will more or less grudgingly vote for them next month to get Brexit done – after that, we’ll see.
Steve
Patrick O’Flynn (ex Kipper) has a similar view on this here (in this case specifically re Brexit implications for this election):
https://blogs.spectator.co.uk/2019/11/the-tory-manifesto-shows-we-dont-need-to-trust-boris-on-brexit/
This resonated:
We’ll see!

To quote WSC “If Hitler invaded Hell I would make at least a favourable reference to the Devil in the House of Commons.”
Sometime you have to ally yourself to unsavoury characters in order to achieve your goals. Once those goals are achieved all bets are off. Thats how I feel about the Tories. I’ll vote for them to get what I want right now, which is Brexit. If thats not achieved you can throw everything else about a realignment of Uk politics, the emergence of a freedom loving free market type party of the Right etc etc out the window.
These extremist lefties hijacked Labour party and use it as a vehicle to power. Corbyn is their man. Finally, socialism. This could be their last chance to have a socialist utopia, they are oh so close, so close. Damn it they let antisemitism and terrorist sympathiser-accusations and what have you stand in their way, they are willing to sacrifice anything, even their morals.
The problem I have with this approach, of holding your nose whilst lending them your vote, is that we’ve been here many times before.
Whether it’s “Call Me Dave” insisting that he has secured meaningful reform from the EU, or the Maybot claiming that she will crack down on immigration, none of it has been achieved, or even attempted.
It is so much hot air and bluster, something that Boris is a master of.
Before I vote for anyone or anything, I want a track record of effectiveness.
Proof that action follows intent, something that is glaringly absent from the Conservatives.
If politics were like horse racing and I was following the form, I’d want a history of good performance of the nag I was going to put money on.
If the Tory Party were a horse, it would need shooting for its own good..
Ritchie will love this:
Democrat candidates are anti-Israel to a man (and woman)
Then there’s Ilhan Omar spying for Qatar & Iran
“Religion is like supporting Man Utd, ”
This is a bad analogy because it is, actually, entirely legitimate to kill people for supporting Man Utd.
BiG, I wouldn’t go that far. These days pointing and laughing is punishment enough for the Rags.
