Isn’t this a grand divorce case?

A judge refused to overturn part of Utah’s lewdness law on Tuesday in a blow to a woman who is fighting criminal charges after her stepchildren saw her topless in her own home.

So, she and hubby were hanging drywall. She took her top off to keep it from getting dirty. The stepkids walked in.

Yes, in her own house, charged with lewdness.

Septics, eh? But the real point of the story is here:

The charges against her were filed after the children’s mother reported the incident to child welfare officials working on a separate investigation involving the kids.

Bet that was an amicable divorce…..

  1. Tim–this “posting too fast shite ” needs to be halted.

It sounds like a stupid reason to have her tits out. If a solution to the problem been sought from the late Duke of Wellington he would doubtless have uttered only the word “overalls”–but it seems like blank tyranny if she can’t get her tits out in her own home.

Now it may be that some sort of sex matter is being looked into–obv we can’t be sure at this distance. But I would vote for Tim’s suggestion that the ex-hag is behind a program of official harassment based on “he/she is a paedo” accusation capers.

Females have form for that. Indeed 4 women in good old Kalifornia tried to sue their lawyers by claiming malpractice because said lawyers didn’t advise them to lie and get a bogus Restraint Order against their ex-husbands citing false claims of paedo-ism and domestic violence.

  2. “Your Honour, I was just putting up some gyprock with me tits oot…” sounds about as believable as the excuses nervous, fidgety guys in A&E have for how a remote control got lodged in their bumhole.

“sounds about as believable as the excuses nervous, fidgety guys in A&E have for how a remote control got lodged in their bumhole.”

Has the practice moved on from hamsters and cardboard tubes?

Utah does seem to have a pretty high proportion of weird people, laws and practices compared with other US states.

    Isn’t our Dennis from Utah?

  4. According to the article she’s facing jail time and the sex offenders register. For getting her tits out

Jesus fucking Christ on a stick, these people are fucking insane.

  5. BraveFart – it’s biodegradable recycled non-bleach organic cardboard and locally-sourced free-range ferrets now, bigot.

Roue – that’s why there’s likely more to the story than is being reported. Mormons are a bit eccentric, but they’re probably not jailing innocent mothers for a nip slip. The clue’s in the “working on a separate investigation involving the kids”.

  6. It’s a slippery slope, today she has tits out in front of the stepson, tomorrow she will be sucking his dick. Throw the book at the tart.

    Isn’t our Dennis from Utah?

No, your Dennis is from Ohio. Just like Utah in the sense that when an adult woman starts waving her boobs around minors we get the law involved. Yeah, it isn’t the sophisticated (in the European sense) thing to do, but we do it anyway.

I’ve had the pleasure of hanging drywall, albeit fully clothed, and the idea that she took off half her clothes to hang drywall fails the Laugh Test.

Doesn’t the phrase “our Dennis” just send a shudder down your spine?

  9. ” Just like Utah in the sense that when an adult woman starts waving her boobs around minors we get the law involved.”
Round here the law is more likely to get involved if there *aren’t* minors around. There’s a free pass for breastfeeding.

  10. Doesn’t the phrase “our Dennis” just send a shudder down your spine?

Not in the least. In my family there were two Freds (now both passed on). My dad’s brother and my mum’s brother both called Fred. Depending on who was speaking each Fred was known as either “our Fred” or “your Fred”. Might just be a Northern thing, I’m not sure. You should be honoured to be referred to as “our Dennis”, you’re family like it or not.

  11. Dennis, Family Like It Or Not (Probably Not)

You should be honoured to be referred to as “our Dennis”, you’re family like it or not.

Be sure to remind The Bison about that. I know I will.

  12. Just another example of how the ‘Land of the Free’ is actually a quite nasty fascist dictatorship in many ways. See also policemen who shoot you for looking funny at them (especially if you’re a woman in a dressing gown), town councils would can sell your house because you owe them a few dollars and police (I’m seeing a theme here) who can confiscate (ie steal) your money and goods, just because they can.

  13. Dennis, Ever Youthful Sex Machine

Hey, Jim: Does your mom walking around the house swinging her bare boobs at anyone that got in the way explain how you turned out?

  14. Flimsy Explanation “she and her husband took off their shirts to keep their clothes from getting dirty while they hung drywall in their garage”

Hanging Plasterboard is not a dirty job, as @Dennis confirms

“three children, ages nine through 13, walked in” to garage?

“Police said Buchanan removed her shirt and bra in front of the children while “under the influence of alcohol” “ sounds more believable

Their home, their life. I saw my parents naked many times, likewise they saw me. Not naturists, simple nothing to hide as in changing rooms etc.

    Confirmation it’s USA

  15. Dennis:The Hand-Reared Boy–Jim nailed your “Land of the Free”=Land of Busybodying (often religious) Cunts very nicely.

  16. Steve,
The clue’s in the “working on a separate investigation involving the kids”.

A clue, but not necessarily for the prosecution. If Child Protective Services suspect inappropriate behavior they will act first and then investigate, in this case by blocking visitation. The fact that they had not suggests that the ex wife was making such far fetched allegations that even CPS didn’t believe them although they are obliged to investigate.

Happy to see I’m on the wrong side of Ecks… confirmation I’ve got it right.
