How dare they be such sexist cows?

Misogyny should be treated as a hate crime, say women MPs, as they put forward an amendment to incorporate it in the Government’s new domestic abuse laws.

The legal change would require police forces to record misogyny as a hate crime including, for the first time, in domestic abuse cases.

Five police forces – Nottinghamshire Police, North Yorkshire, Somerset and Avon, and Northamptonshire – already treat misogyny as a hate crime but the amendment would extend it to all constabularies.

A coalition of groups and MPs including Women’s Aid, the Fawcett Society, Refuge and Citizens UK are backing the change and say it would enable police and support agencies to build a picture of the scale of the problem, better help victims and combat such prejudices….

And why isn’t misandry to be equally treated?

It all being rather interesting when things actually are fair. For example, the parliamentary draftsmen on the domestic violence stuff did get it right and made it the violence, not the sex of the perpetrator, which was the definition of the offence. And a possibly surprisingly large portion of the prosecutions are of women…..

  1. Free speech is under mortal threat in the UK. Fight back. Fucking lefties and their cancel culture.

  2. Logically nonsense. A misogynist is not going to be living with a female person any more than a racist is going to be living with a black person. Unless she’s a sex slave, which I’m pretty sure is illegal anyway.

And on that topic, aren’t Muslims misogynist by definition?

  3. Doubtless any criticism of the trans movement is now categorised as misogyny, even though they’re hairy-arsed men.

  4. You know, if I search my memory hard enough I think I can remember a time when the law punished you for what you did, not for. what you thought. Can that ever have been true or is my memory playing up?

  5. Five police forces – Nottinghamshire Police, North Yorkshire, Somerset and Avon, and Northamptonshire – already treat misogyny as a hate crime . . .

    Cunts.

  6. Five police forces – Nottinghamshire Police, North Yorkshire, Somerset and Avon, and Northamptonshire

    That’s only four police forces.

  7. Roué le Jour,

To justify Julia Gillard’s rant at Tony Abbott, the Macquarie Dictionary changed the definition of misogyny to a man who looks at his watch when a woman is talking or thinks women can’t reverse park.

I fail to see the logic of this. Women do not, by and large, like nice well behaved liberal men. Part of their rebellion is that men give them what they say they want. But they don’t want it. That is why so many middle aged women hang around refugee camps or prisons.

Think – how many women’s novels have been written about well meaning Guardian reading liberals who ask permission before touch each button on her blouse? And how many have been written about men who have the power to seriously hurt other people and are not inclined to take no for an answer?

In the same way there have been racists who like Black women. Some things are so much easier if you don’t have to respect the other party.

This is just more of women demanding what they think they want. They do not. Science proves[TM] that women prefer “benevolent sexists”. That is, gentlemanly but firmly male.

  9. DocBud,
    Thanks for that update.

    Rhoda,
Surely if she says, “it’s not just me, yer ‘oner, ‘e ‘ates all women!”

That’s like, thirty odd million previous offences?

  10. ‘it would enable police and support agencies to build a picture of the scale of the problem’

If you don’t know the scale of the problem (sic), why are you doing this?

    ‘better help victims’

    Huh? Wut?

    ‘combat such prejudices’

    INCREASE such prejudices.

Let’s encode feminazis derangement into law.
