I always enjoy reading the Professor.
He’s spot on about the miracle of the bricks. With modern day surveillance it’s pretty much impossible to drop litter without being detected let alone several hundredweight of paletted bricks which would surely require a forklift to unload.

Shooting them, although certainly satisfying on an emotional level, only puts them in line for consideration as a martyr by the intelligentsia, corporate media and most of the Democratic Party. Better to capture them, prosecute them as terrorists, and then have them disappear into the federal prison system. Forgotten but not gone is what you are looking for here.
I thought it was Standard Operating Procedures that looters were shot? When and why did that change?

Killing them only ensures they’ll vote Dem for the rest of recorded time, rather than growing out of it.

Shoot them anyway.
I’m starting to think Trump is a poossy.
Obvuosly, our own elite is not better, but I thought he might have stuck the boot in by now.

It’s all very well President Trump declaring antifa domestic terrorists, but that would be FBI territory, and the FBI probably regards antifa as allies in the war against Trump. I’m not expecting that to go anywhere.

BTW John, brick delivery trucks have their own unloading arm, no fork lift required. You’d think you could easily track one of these, wouldn’t you?

That would depend on how hard the law enforcement agency was trying, if at all.

good article here – https://spectator.us/riot-brought-nike-looting-minneapolis-new-york-dc/
“In Chicago last weekend 82 people were shot, 22 of them fatally. Between May 2019 and late May 2020, homicide claimed the lives of over 300 black men in the city. That’s not a police brutality problem, that’s a problem of insufficient police power being deployed to stop violent criminals. If the death of one man, George Floyd, while under arrest in Minneapolis is cause for nationwide protests, why don’t the deaths of hundreds of George Floyds every year prick the conscience of protesters that much more?
Better yet, why don’t the antifa kids who are mighty bold with the police go and toss bricks at the gangbangers in Chicago? Because unlike the police, the gangs will shoot them dead. The rioters setting America ablaze are cowards: they riot only because they know they face no danger from the police.”
M’Lud, to paraphrase Stefan Molyneux, as soon as Trump sends in the Nat Guard and the inevitable rootin’, tootin’, looter shootin’ begins the Dems will start screaming “Look, Trump is killing his own people, what a fascist, racist, totalitarian bad orange man he is”.
As most of the areas currently on fire are in Democrat controlled districts, Trump has to tell the Governors and Mayors responsible that they can have military support for the police but it is on them to call it in, they have to take responsibility for the crackdown response to avoid the next tedious round of Orange Man Baa-aaad.

He was well annoyed with some of the viewpoints expressed here recently, so he’s probably left. Whether for good, I couldn’t say.

There are about ten thousand (please supply your own noun) protesting in London today.
I wonder how many of them could point to Minneapolis on a map
Ummmm
At our local protest against police violence the police posed for photos with the protesters

Lachlan Murdoch just endorsed BLM.
I cant see Tucker Carlson lasting long, which is a shame as he is the only guy willing to identify the cancer in American politics
Tucker spot on and revealing Our leaders dither as our cities burn
– Leaders, – except Trump – encourage and excuse riots, looting, murders, arson as “Democratic Protests”
– Police allowing rioters to build piles of bricks etc before riot start
– Nikki Haley outs herself as a Leftie at heart

Just as true in the Sixties. The Race Riots did not take place where Blacks were oppressed. They took place where the local government was weak and liberal. But I repeat myself. Newark was not the victim of a riot because Blacks were being treated badly but because they were being treated well. The same with Detroit or even LA.
Rioters are not stupid – and criminals are deterred.
The same this time – they know that the Democrats want America to burn and so they will not be arrested in places where George Soros has elected the DA. So they riot in NY and Minneapolis and every other city controlled by the far left.

PJF,
These people can get fucked.
George Floyd wasn’t MLK or Steve Biko. He was someone with multiple jail terms. He once put a gun to a woman in her home and asked where her valuables were. He handed over a fake $20 bill and tried to resist arrest.

Well Steve Biko was a nasty piece of work who would have been necklaced by the ANC if the police hadn’t given him a rough ride.
But I agree with the sentiments entirely. However even multiple felons should not be killed by the police. I think the issue here with his felonies is not whether he deserved to die for them – he did not (although the world would have been a better place if they had hanged him) – but whether his felonies justified the police being more cautious than usual.
The real issue here is the lack of intent or malice on the part of the policemen. They were doing their jobs in accordance with the manual. For that they have been railroaded. Just because the Democrats are afraid they will lose the election.

Slightly OT but if this is right (and it really sounds plausible), shit is really going to get real after the trial of Chauvin. My guess is the guy is going to get a trivial conviction for manslaughter, at worst.

“In Chicago last weekend 82 people were shot, 22 of them fatally.”
Not possible. Guns are illegal in Chicago.
‘That’s not a police brutality problem, that’s a problem of insufficient police power being deployed to stop violent criminals.”
Police don’t stop violent criminals. They come later, to put chalk lines around the bodies.
Gamecock
Arrest the lot for Covid lockdown violation, surely more serious than arson.

I wonder how many of these people would ‘take the knee’ for Justine Damond, who was murdered by a Minneapolis Police officer? Why doesn’t someone ask these self important spokespeople, or the usual bunch of rolled out SJW celebrities if they would? Strangely, in her case, there was very little national media coverage. Tthere were no riots, and no looting. The fact that Justine was white and the Police officer was Somali born, was probably a coincidence.
Gamecock
“The fact that Justine was white and the Police officer was Somali born, was probably a coincidence.”
The Democrats in the U.S. accommodate, and encourage, black dysfunctional personality disorder. They have blacks believing that other people are responsible for their problems. BWTM. The have ginned up a siege mentality within the tribe. They have convinced blacks that people – nationalists, white supremacists, far right, blah blah blah – are ACTIVELY trying to do them in.
So when a man dies in custody of the police, blacks are triggered into protesting, EVEN THOUGH THERE IS NO APPARENT RACIAL COMPONENT TO THE INCIDENT. The protests are a sign of black mental health problems, not racism.
The surreal aspect is that the protests have gone global. The world is nuts.
When I was protesting 50 years ago, was I as stupid? Probably not. I went to a Jane Fonda rally and came away thinking, “Gawd, she’s stupid. Why is she getting any attention?”
Richard West From Wales
George Floyd had a bad criminal record. I do not support the death penalty. But people are treating him like a saint. I think Black Lives Matter. But the guy did not seem a gentle giant from his criminal record.
Gamecock
BWTM. As Ann Coulter points out in the Rodney King case, the horrible officers in the video were ACQUITED. As was the officer in Feguson, MO, and the officers in Baltimore.
What is conspicuously absent in the Floyd video is what happened before he was pinned on the ground. In the King case, when the jury saw what led up to the whacking with batons, they realized King was out of control and got what he should have.
We haven’t seen – it may not exist – what led to Floyd’s pinning.
News is coming out now that Floyd’s ‘armed robbery’ was actually a home invasion, in which Floyd held a gun to a woman. Yeah, a WOMAN, so it appears we are trying to understand the Leftwaffe’s victim hierarchy.
