The right to bear arms applies whatever the skin colour. But the social – or even societal – response might not be quite so level headed.
I don’t think anyone will care about armed Black militia. In fact if only these tools got their way, I think most White Americans would be happy for Black Americans to form their own country. Even at the expense of Texas. After all, fewer Blacks means a better country for everyone else.
But the Democrats did well in the 2016 mid-terms because they made White suburban women angry through MeToo. They threw of lot of loyal Democrats to the wolves – almost entirely Jewish Democrats at that – in order to do so. But it worked.
Now Trump is running ads that show an elderly woman at home alone calling the police because someone is trying to break in. That is something every suburban wife can understand. Defunding the police is an insane policy for the suburbs. For White people generally.
The polls don’t say so and Trump is an awful person but if America’s demographics were like they were in 1972 Trump would romp home.
You Tube has vids of various armed militias of supposed black “veterans”. A gun bloke from Texas had some interesting observations. Including focusing in on one fellow carrying a 22 carbine that was obv jammed by reason of a cartridge sticking out of the breech at 45 degrees to the horizontal.
Veterans of the Army of Toytown likely pose a lesser threat than they imagine they do.
The video of (I think) Portland rioters forming a shield -wall (home made or somehow obtained cop shields–somewhat Roman-style in size/shape) standing ready to receive a military squads baton charge also shows Marxist military capacity. They throw their shields down and flee half a second before the military charge hits them.
Not exactly the battle of Hastings. Suggesting–correctly I think–that the forces of the revolution are a bunch of two-tone cowards.

Another point about the shields, these are light plastic, made from bins. A .22 would go through them like butter, let alone a .223. They claim that the federal police are facist stormtroopers, but prepare for non-lethal responses to their provocation.
Why don’t these federal buildings have plumbed in water canon? It shouldn’t be that difficult.

Why only just white people?
There is a black middle class that doesn’t want crims of any type regarding them as lunch. And most poor black people are NOT crims and already suffer from black crime the most as well as living in Demorat run gun-controlled shitholes. A world in which the police don’t even try and crims who are arrested are out in one hour because bail is abolished (as already in NY–277 % increase in violent crime so far) is of no benefit to ord blacks.
Let alone one in which the police are gone entirely.

The numbers rioting are tiny, and though they loudly proclaim themselves as supporting blacks, in reality they only support blacks like themselves. Which might be why Trumps approval rating amongst blacks has been and remains higher than any other politician except Obama.
As to the comparison with 1972, I think the riots now will help Trump, but not to a 47 state blowout like Nixon. They will hurt the Dems in the House and Senate as they didn’t in 1972. In 1972 it was reasonable to vote for Nixon as President, but your established Dem. candidate for House or Senate. This year not so much, people will be forced to choose.

A “pilot survey” of 11 black households in Brixton, 8 of which had been raided by the police – for a raid there must have been strong evidence to suspect that they were criminal. Not surprising they didn’t come up with much support for the cops.

I confess I feel a bit smug about being a well regulated militia when my friends and neighbors ask me about getting guns. I feel like a prepper when the atomic bombs start going off.
My neighbors’ decadent asses were content with my guarding the community. I don’t believe for a second their interest now is in protecting anything but their own heinies.

I’m a middle class suburban American and had a lovely neighborhood BBQ last weekend on a whim to beat the Wuhan blues. I dare say the racial and ethnic mix of the dozen attendees was far more “diverse” than the entire UK. Disagreements on issues big and small were met with shoulder shrugs and offers to grab another beer.
It’s easy to let the super-stimulus effects of TV and social media shade your vision of a place. Yes, black ghettos are horrible places. Yes, people living near or in these places have problems, both self-perpetuated and purely circumstantial. But the US is a huge, diverse country and its sprawling middle class is nearly entirely made up of people who have at least enough sense and reciprocity to achieve said status.
None of my BBQ neighbors were twitter active, or involved in national politics, or willing to fight over pronouns, etc. No doubt there were die-hard Republicans and Democrats alike, but we did not come to live in the same geographic location by pure chance, but rather a shared set of fundamental values.
All of us save one owned firearms, mostly of the scary black variety. Some US stereotypes are accurate, after all. Don’t get your view of the US or the “typical American” from Hollywood, Twitter, or London tourists. This country remains (sometimes unfortunately) a beacon for the world as a place to come and thrive in relatively free circumstances, and for good reason.

The wonderful thing about most American states’ constitutions is that they can do exactly that – incorporate their own municipality at the behest of those that want that municipality. Go for it! Rule 1 of guns – there is no such thing as an accidental discharge, it’s either deliberate negligent and negligence should be a crime with a severe punishment whether anyone is injured or not.

From the first lesson on guns when I joined the Army, every discharge was deliberate or negligent, if negligent a minimum fine of a month’s salary could be expected. Rule 2 is every gun is loaded, but if you think it’s the other way round, *shrug* they’re equally important.
Tell me a scenario you think is accidental and I’ll bet someone was negligent along the way that led to that discharge.

In fact, a county deputy discharged his pistol at a school a few years ago. No action was taken against him. Though several days under the microscope may have been sufficient punishment. He was holstering his gun and caught the trigger on his keys or something. He missed his leg, and more importantly, the kids.
And in my book that was negligent. He wasn’t in control and had put himself in a position that could have killed children.
