You go gal!

Elaine, 82, Spring Lake, Michigan

I’ve been widowed now five years since my second husband passed away. I know I don’t want to get married again, and maybe this sounds horrible, but I really just want to have a man in my life. Both of my husbands were very loving and affectionate men, and I miss that horribly.

Entirely fair and good luck. This though is very fun:

And so I really would like a younger man in his 70s because too many men in their 80s have just let themselves go. You can’t believe some of the, um, some of the pictures that come up on my accounts, and I just think, “Really?”

“I decided to do online dating because my husbands kept dying. I’ve had a really bad run.”

I can’t help getting the feeling that “rich” is missing from that statement.

  2. Gamecock is single and in his 70s. Here’s a clue, Gamecock isn’t attracted to 80 something women. Not even 70 something women. He supposes a 60 something is possible. 50 something is the sweet spot.

Elaine of Spring Lake, Michigan, is shitouttaluck. After 5 years, she knows it. Ego is a funny thing, getting her to talk to vox.

Elaine might be a bit of an exhibitionist. Spring Lake has a population of just over 2,000. I imagine most everybody knows most everybody. Maybe they don’t get vox in Spring Lake.

  3. “I’ve buried four husbands, the first three died from eating poisonous mushrooms.”
    “And the fourth?”
    “He wouldn’t eat his mushrooms.”
