How very male, eh?

James Graham exclusive interview: ‘When I was younger, I was attracted to risk and everything that came with it’

Attitudes – on average of course – to risk being one of those differences across the genders in our sexually dimorphic species. We can indeed be equal but we’re never going to be the same.

  1. So Much For Subtlety

We are not and never will be equal. or rather equality is a product of Christianity. If you do not believe that God made mankind equal, and most of us do not, then there is no reason to accept that the genders are equal, or the races are equal, or individuals are equal.

For the races, each of them left Africa and then struggled in different environments for tens of thousands of years becoming genetically distinct. Changing their skin colour, their hair colour, their height, their lung capacity and many other things. There is no reason to think they did not change their brain capacities as well.

For the genders it is not as clear cut. You would think evolution was cheap. It does not change much unless it has to and the cheap option is for men and women to share the genes for brain capacity. But there is no reason to think it has to be so.

  2. Is it gender difference, or is it sex difference? If somebody sews on a willy do they become less risk averse?

  3. All men are born with different capabilities; if they are free, they are not equal; if they are equal, they are not free.
