What a lovely idea

Politics can still deliver but only if there is fairness, honesty and hope

We could start, perhaps, with honesty on tax from the OberKartoffel, that would be interesting, no?

Hmm, knowledge would be a good start.

  1. I see that perennial arse-licker ‘Pilgrim Sleight Return’ on the Murphy blog is whining on about the poor lot of public sector workers (he/she being one). He/she is supposed to be working from home but seems to spend half his/her day on Murphy’s blog. He/she compares the lot of private sector workers as being much better (completely overlooking the shit deal of furlough and redundancies). Go on, mate, try spending as much time on Murphy’s blog if you had a private sector job. See how long you’d last.

  2. “fairness” – confiscation backed up by violence, corruption, waste
    “honesty” – bare-faced lies
“hope” – expectation of further persecution of your enemies

  3. To steal from Mencken, expecting fairness, honesty and hope to fix politics is like trying to remedy prostitution by staffing the brothels with virgins.

I would have thought that was not so much a minority kink but pretty much a generally settled and agreed improvement.

A bit expensive though I would think.

  5. Hmm. Not that I’m an aficionado of this particular business method of gaining access to the service. By I would have thought that at least part of the payment was to gain access to someone who knows what they’re doing…..
