Elsewhere, he’s back to claiming – despite getting massively owned on the subject numerous times – that the difference between self-employed and employed taxation is more than just employer’s NI.
He’s not so much divorced from reality as she changed her telephone number and got a restraining order on him after their disastrous first date.
I am going to use ‘political economist’ in future in order to pontificate on matters about which I am totally ignorant. Can’t wait for the next thread on tech here.

I wonder if his answer to why he is an expert is ‘I studied it as part of accounting qualifications’ which he’s used to justify his comments before. Ignoring that some people are specialists with extensive training and real life experience.
He really doesn’t seem understand that part of the purpose of the range of subjects exists is to provide a grounding in related subjects not to make you an expert, in effect enough to stop you doing something stupid and to know you need to consult an expert or at least do some research. One module is enough to replace a full degree course for someone as enlightened as him I guess.
