Weird with FT Alphaville, some of their pieces are in front and some behind the subscription wall.
So, this piece.
Anyone got a subscription and want to send me a copy? Or in comments?
You know, if they’re hiring writers then why not calm my ego by getting rejected?

That rules out Kim-Il Kartoffel then.
So, who is an FT subscriber?
That’s akin to asking ‘When did you stop beating your wife?’
“The Financial Times has a vacancy for an Alphaville Reporter in conjunction with the brand’s relaunch as a paywalled product.”
Bugger.

Lordy, that sounds tiring.
However, I am intrigued to learn that the FT is looking for people to do ‘groupthink-busting’, which represents a significant change in its editorial stance.
What’s the likelihood of today’s woke FT employing (even as a freelance) a Capitalist? Still less a Brexiteer.
Aren’t they just looking for someone with a creative attitude to statistics and graphs with which to abuse the Tories?
