This helps to explain the madwives

The updated policy was designed by a team of “gender inclusion midwives”, one of whom describes “themself” as “non-binary”.

Freddy McConnell, who lost a High Court case in 2019 over whether someone who gives birth to a child can be listed as the “father” on a birth certificate, was an adviser.

That’s the bloke at The Guardian who gave birth. Might – might – also be the one who described Suzanne Moore’s column as making them physically fearful for their lives.

Or, you know, sufficiently odd that we’d not give all that much credence to their views.

  1. Interesting that there actually seems to be some pushback against this latest nonsense. Perhaps because it’s being done to women rather than men.

  2. So Much For Subtlety

So can we estimate the size of the nutter community that is causing so much ruckus? Well the fact that the same nutter has appeared in two important court cases suggests the nutter community is in single digits.

Yet again we see that the problem is not with nutters, whether tranny or Islamist or Animal Rights. The problem is with our elites who are determined to surrender our rights as soon as they can. Without a fight.

  3. For the person who gave birth to be registered as farther I feel the criteria must be that the “father” has a penis and the birth was “natural” i.e. not a cesarean section.

  4. Not my battle. They told me to keep my nose out of the abortion argument, basis it was a woman’s right to choose – women’s stuff. Once bitten, as they say. That said, I think they’re crazy to go along with this gender crap without a fight.

Except that is where they are now admitting they are wrong. Abortion is not a woman’s issue as not all people who get an abortion are women. Trans-rights are human rights. And men have just as much right to comment on abortions as anyone else because men have abortions too.

  6. Live as far away as possible from anywhere with lots of organic sourdough bakeries. Bristol, Brighton, London, Oxford, Cambridge. Expect your history to be destroyed by vandals, XR closing your roads, and the lunatic emasculated men to be common.

    + 1

  8. Who supplied the sperm? That’s the father. Whose womb did it come out of? That’s the mother. That’s the pysiological fact.

Admittedly, we’re getting technology that is bluring the “whose womb” bit what with the womb provider and the egg provider being able to be seperate people, and SciFi technology may get us external wombs, but “father” is “sperm provider”. Full stop.

  9. I blame Tony Blair. It was his idea to send everyone to university whether they had intelligence or aptitude or they didn’t. Now we have countless idiots in government non jobs coming up with crap like this when they could have been doing something useful and not up to their necks in debt.

  10. the fact that the same nutter has appeared in two important court cases suggests the nutter community is in single digits.

The number of birds-who-think-they’re blokes activists is tiny, mainly I think because most of these poor women are cowed and unhappy. The number of male narcissists, perverts and loonies purporting to be women is much larger as many of them obviously get off on it.

And with a couple of dozen Twatter accounts each, they can create the illusion of a movement.

  11. “So can we estimate the size of the nutter community that is causing so much ruckus?”

“According to DSM-5, the prevalence of gender dysphoria is 0.005–0.014% for adult natal males and 0.002-0.003% for adult natal females. In Europe, 1 per 30,000 adult males and 1 per 100,000 adult females seek sexual reassignment surgery (SRS).24 apr. 2019”

But that’s totals.. A large proportion of those people are, at least in my experience ( 3 total over 3 decades ), not total screaming nutters and have their hands full with Getting On With Life, thankyouverymuch.

But assume mental instability is part of the package somewhere, and assign a whopping 25% of the group with Screaming Nutter Syndrome… Especially since the condition is so rare, you have to be aware of the small-numbers trap. Even then you have to dilute the numbers with another factor 10 to express them properly.

Still.. going by the number seeking sexual re-assignment ( which are the “bad enough” cases) , you end up at about 1642 total living cases for the UK based on the 2020 population estimate.
Of which then 410 are afflicted with Screaming Nutter Syndrome.
If you take the entirety of gender dysphoria ( which would conveniently include a lot of the non-binaries, because more-than-causal connection.), you’d end up at 2885 people with Screaming Nutter Syndrome in the UK.

Add some odds and ends from the Alphapbet Soup squad and the Professionally Offended… A ballpark napkin-fu number of about 5000 UK-resident individuals sounds about right.
Against roughly 34 million UK-resident females.

  12. The number of male narcissists, perverts and loonies purporting to be women is much larger

    And teenagers.

If, back then, someone had told our class of sex-crazed teenage boys, that they could share the girls’ shower after PE, just by self-identifying as a girl….
    What could go wrong?

No wonder women’s sport is fighting back.
