Why is this a problem?

Company founded by suspected crime boss Kinahan moving into football

Don’t we want criminals to reform?

Or are we saying that football’s so bad that it will corrupt a career criminal?

  1. Over a decade ago now, when I was on Taxi Licensing we had one driver who’s done something stupid in his teens. He was now in his fourties, but because of the “fit and proper” test his renewal always had to go to Board. Which tended to go: Hi Bob, come in, kept your nose clean? Good, just pop outside and wait. Ok? Ok. Bob! Come back in. Here’s your renewal.

Natural justice is built on the presumption of the ability of people to reform.

Really? Why do you believe that?

If he was really serious about being a criminal in the world of soccer, he’d have joined FIFA.
