It happens to us all – especially women

Judith Woods today complains about how actresses get sidelined once not hot. The explanation for this being that – as Woods does not point out – this suits the young actresses just fine and as they’re the ones with the moist fertility that the men in the business value then that’s what happens.

Rowan Pelling treats us to a story about how she organises her fridge. Pelling used to edit the Erotic Review and first published that call girl stuff that ended up getting filmed with umm, whassherface.

So, umm, ageing into summat etc seems to happen, eh?

  1. “Actresses”? Isn’t the allowed term nowadays “actor”? Could probably just get away using “actress” if addressing Judi Dench or similar. Tut. Very tut.

  2. Being lusted after by naughty older women with an eye for a tender side of beef was of great benefit to me as a young man with a cheeky smile and little relevant work experience.

Sadly, my virtue is now extremely safe even at office Christmas parties. This is intolerable sexism, or something, and I demand the creation of a National MILF Service.

    Billie Piper?

I never watched the programme but by all accounts it was about how empowering it was for a woman to kneel in front of an ugly fat businessman she’d only just met and given him a blow job because he’d paid her.

I hope she did it for a bet.

(The secret of buying a fridge, by the way, is to buy one with drawers, not shelves.)

  5. When a seven foot basketball player suddenly shrinks to four feet tall, it’s unfair for him to lose his job?

Making money is empowering. And what’s the difference between this and hot women marrying princes and dictators, except that it’s honest? Do you think Meghan Markle was attracted to Harry because he was a thick-as-pigshit ginge?
