We all thought it was a manner of making buildings that don’t suck. But then architects did leave that behind long ago….
Having lived or worked in a number of architect designed (some even award winning) buildings over the years, I’d make it mandatory for any architect to live or work in their creations for at least a year so they can learn how truly crap their ideas are.

By any modern measure he was terribly racist, dig a little deeper and freeing the slaves soon collapses into the sort of convenient simplification that is usually used to teach basic history.
