Menopausal women could get new workplace protections as part of a comprehensive government review of female health and wellbeing.
Ministers are appealing for women from all backgrounds to complete a simple questionnaire detailing how NHS services and employment practices could be improved to meet their specific needs.
And the government throws the menopausal trans men under the bus? Why can’t they just say “people with menopause” or something?
“Review prompted by evidence that science behind medical advantages is biased towards men”
What!
Prostate cancer kills more people than breast cancer – funding for breast cancer more than ten times funding for prostate cancer.
Science is biased by using men as guineapigs for risky testing – so “towards” can be used but not “in favour of”.
The NHS spends vastly more on women than on men. Perhaps because it is mostly run by women.
John77,
Or maybe just because women are more demanding and more likely to seek medical care.

Or both
Yes, there will be robust protections in place for 3-4 days or so, and then they will taper off later in the week. At which point, some government bureaucrat will be paid to…check? Not sure what they’re getting at, here.
