Number One in the Pop Charts by Next Week

As mentioned earlier, the record made by the son of one reader here…..all it needs is a couple of million streams and it’ll be number 1, right?

  1. Got to say the superhero parody schtick works well for me after a decade of MCU movies which were, to be fair, only slightly less ridiculous than this, and a lot less fun by the end

  2. I missed whose son this is, but I’m guessing his father is of a similar age to me and that the lad has been listening to Dad’s records!

  3. I’ve shared this with a few of my contacts and put it on my Spotify playlist. If the song did get a place on the streaming charts, when would it be updated and how would we find out? Music charts used to consist mostly of recent releases back in the olden days. We used to get weekly updates from Radio 1 and Top of the Pops. Now I don’t have a clue.

  4. OK, I stopped being lazy and investigated. New download chart comes out every Friday and you can access it on line.

  5. The Meissen Bison

MC: I missed whose son this is

Me too and for the avoidance of doubt, the one with the bovine head is not a relation of mine 🙂

And it was so much better that it is today ”

Over ten years ago, and they are all grown up now. Except mine. They did a show that was half rock, half panto. There was a super villain, and minions. Who were defeated by the crowd booing, and the power of rock. A mate produced a comic. Someone else planned action figures. But it was only a side project for all of them.

    Other tracks and videos exist..

Oh, and I did play them my records. Leadbelly, Robeson. The Who, Led Zep, Meat Loaf, Albert King, Cream and so on.
