Well, no, not quite

Green markets cannot be just another gravy train if we are to save the planet

Actually, what we want is that green markets be exactly just another gravy train. Our whole desire is that folks make easy money by doing whatever it is that we want them to do. We desire to harness that capitalist greed that is – which is done by people making profits from what we desire to happen.

Far from us not wanting green markets to be like other ones that’s our actual entire desire.

  1. Climate Change is the most colossal gravy train in the entire history of gravy trains ever. That’s why it can’t be disproven, there are just so many people making huge amounts of cash. After all the money that has been thrown away to avert the Climate Crisis, people might be a bit cross if we were ever to admit that there isn’t a crisis and there never has been.

  2. +1 stonyground. Just look how the financial position of Lord Deben has grown over the last 20 years. And Al “inconvenient” Gore as well. The Attentwat is probably doing well, also

    Who is this “we”?

For myself, I don’t want to see scarce resources allocated by corrupted corporations toward artificial, government mandated targets.

  4. Talking about people making cash out of greenery, Be interesting to know what St Greta’s financial position is, these days.

Probably about as well as Patrisse Cullors is doing out of BLM
