    There are a number of issues about which a Minister automatically tells lies, and he would be regarded as foolish or incompetent if he told the truth. For instance, he would always deny an impending devaluation, or a run on the pound. And he would always give the impression that the UK had adequate and credible defences…

  2. So presumably ‘international law’ is not that important in this case, unlike when it was the be all and end all of everything a while back over Brexit and the NI protocol?

  3. Sweden has not YET done so.
    But Sweden is the poster-child of the Left so it will be forgiven for taking a couple of millennia to fulfil its promise. Any bets on the left forgiving us for taking a decade?
